"Hierarchy view" should show the entire SCCM Hierarchy which includes all Site System Servers and Distribution Points are part of the Hierarchy so they should display in the Hierarchy view.
The Hierarchy view could be expandable to show each Site System Server grouped by Site System Role and it'd be great to be able to hover over each Site System Server and know which Boundary Group it belongs to. Perhaps also indicate which Site System Servers are Pending active content distributions vs failed distributions along with the overall health status of each.
The "Hierarchy view" could be so much more than it currently is... it could become an SCCM Hierarchy and Health Dashboard. Administrators could see a birds eye view of the environment and perform their daily health checks in a fraction of the time by clicking unhealthy areas of the Hierarchy for more information or possibly being transported to the relative console view in SCCM to perform additional troubleshooting tasks.
Updated to Noted. We’ve been discussing the same in our planning meetings.
