The first slice of this is now available with #configmgr 2002 production release (publicly available). You can now attach your on-prem #configmgr to Intune, and see #configmgr managed clients (including win7 and server OSs) in intune/MEMAC UI. I agree with this! We need web console that not only allows for what's in place now in the thick console but also has MDT integration and can be used to setup machines in MDT/SCCM for OSD bare metal. There are Help Desk/ Service Desk / Desktop Services folks that don't need full access into the SCCM console and only the ability to build machines and push applications. A web interface would give the ability to have things like this without having to train teams on SCCM and the console. I have found unleashing the console on people who have never used it before can be a large learning curve.
The Cireson web portal was mentioned below. So yes there are products out there BUT I did PoC the product and it is limited.
Hopefully the ConFig Mgr team is open to this approach.
