@Amy Ahlberg - can you please share that report with us to help ease the pain till (if) they add this feature? I too tire of trying to figure out why of my MANY task sequences might have a reference to an old app i'm trying to get rid of.
Just one example: We have a troubleshooting script i wrote that needs the ability to run as often as the user (tech or help desk) needs, so it won't work with an application model unless we make it "fail" every time. That doesn't look very professional either. Would much prefer to just be able to assign an icon to a package the way we do to an application.

The first iteration/slice of this is available in the 1905 Tech Preview.
this will make software center look much better and make things easier to find, no matter how you deliver software/OS/tools/etc to users.
