Well, this is technically possible. There is a registry setting you need to add that enables group policy during the OSD. Then you can add a step to do a GP Update. We do this at the end of our task sequence. But I agree. It should be built-in to the OSD as an option to run at the end.

To piggyback off this idea, as an improvement to the Driver Package management: Please let us just right click on a driver package, add or remove drivers directly from the driver package. The current method of finding a driver you *THINK* might be on the package and removing it that way is a PITA.

Updating status to Noted. Thanks for the feedback, we have a similar item in our Database. The goal was a task sequence step that could notify a user or technician on completion or error. Another case was to pair with Windows 10 Upgrade – allow setup.exe to run silently with /Compat then send an e-mail notifying the user or admin that the machine is ready to upgrade.

We would like to see a built-in way to remove a computer from the collection when the task sequence is done running.

When selected, add a check box to let user select which collection(s) to remove the computer from.

Currently the only way to do this is with Powershell/VB (i think) This works but is messy in our view. We try to get away from scripts whenever we can.
