This can currently be done via GPO configurations for Offer Remote Assistance. To implement this in ConfigMgr would not be very challenging. We have customers in several organizations globally asking for this capability.
This should be customizable. I am seeing three retries and continue. It would be nice to increase the wait time and/or increase the retry count. The ADR should also have the ability to redownload if failed "X" amount of times. This would prevent the admin from having to run the entire rule again. New updates which are not approved are usually added to the deployment and have to be manually removed.
Thanks for the suggestion. Updating status to Noted – see https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/configmgreng/2016/03/11/configmrguv/
Working with a customer who likes this idea. They have multiple reboots to solve a CAT-1 vulnerability which is present after a Windows 10 upgrade to 1709. This should be added to the TS properties. While the TS is running, do not allow the end user to login checkbox. This would indicate the task sequence is complete. Currently, users are logging in and the system still requires multiple reboots.
It would be nice if Custom Client Settings allows for Advance Firewall port configurations. This would be helpful when applying custom client settings to SQL, Exchange, ConfigMgr, etc.
