Here's a script which does effectively this, would just need to be pulled into Software Center somehow.

This would be awesome. Would also like the same ability for applications being moved around in folders in admin console.

Allow custom icons for Task Sequences and Packages/Programs in Software Center.
Currently the icons are all a default icon, which can be confusing for end users if there are multiple deployed to a workstation.
