As others have stated, being able to SEE COMPLIANCE would be a huge advantage for doing all client configuration with Configuration Manager, not some in GP, some in DSC, some in 1,2,3...
Please move all aspects of configuration to powershell dsc - then make config mgr powershell dsc behind the curtains ;-)

Thanks for the feedback. Updating the status to Noted
Believe it or not there are still plenty of things that don't generate a decent audit log! This feature would be welcome. Only thing I've heard that accomplishes anything remotely close is NetWrix.
This would be extremely helpful for troubleshooting purposes.
I see where this is coming from now. If your oem of choice has **** drivers that match incompatible hardware I'd say "switch oem's!" but that's admittedly not an option for everyone...
I've been using autoapply drivers for years... it works just fine?

Phase 1 of these feature is in 1602 production
...or just roll the same functionality with Powershell and put that into the console. Either way this addon provides a TON of useful features I routinely make use of.
We are right in the middle of dealing with https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3118750 and need to uninstall 2 .net updates in order to move forward with a critical application deployment. It would sure save me some trouble if I could simply tell Config Mgr to reach out and remove the two related updates from the affected systems!
