Now that SCCM HA is available, SQL Server Basic AOAG (Standard edition), is needed to provide SQL HA. For a client to implement SCCM HA, with SQL AOAG (SQL Enterprise), they would need THREE (3) new servers!
If SCCM could support SQL AOAG (2 node basic - std edition) , the client would only need ONE (1) new server to have SCCM HA and SQL HA. Thanks for posting this Kenneth!
I've got a link to the file here: https://stevethompsonmvp.wordpress.com/2015/10/27/create-custom-report-user-role-for-configmgr-2012-r2/
April 2016 is another month that this feature could help. Another technique would allow a maintenance window + n days from Patch Tuesday. This month (April) Maintenance Windows fails with a 2nd Saturday for a dev server collection, as the 2nd SAT is actually before Patch Tuesday. Jan 2016 is another month with the same issue.

I'd like to see tempdb and CM database files be properly created and sized depending on the estimated client count.
Completely agree! Consider adding in Ola Hallengrens index and statistic optimization scripts to tune CM and SUSDB...
