You should see what the log file looks like for Linux machines with the CM agent installed. Yes we are the only company I have ever heard of using the CM agent on Linux in an enterprise environment. Everything is in one file, and its a mess. Now its not condensed and high level, but we would love to have separate log files for Linux, or at least less noise in the one we have.

I like this. We end up enabling upgrade on clients only. Allow the Scheduled task to get created on them. Then when we are ready to do servers, we shorten the window to 1 day and enable server upgrade. That is as much control as I can get right now and concentrates them into a 24 hour window.

I would love this and it would make configmgr much more competitive and comparable to some other tools that offer continuous configuration automation. Not being able to deploy configmgr native objects as part of the compliance remediation is a huge gap in this market when other tools can.

I personally use the 'DiscoveredValue' field of the 'vDCMDeploymentNonCompliantRuleDetailsPerClientMachine' and it works great. Just counterintuitive. The approved way to do this is with MOF modifications, using regkeytoMOF to generate it. It works. But I like to stay out of my MOF files unless I need to data for the long term, not just for one off requests.
