  1. "Created by" & "Modified by" option is required in Device Collection

    Dear Team,

In Device collection, "Created by" & "Modified by" option is required. Which will be very helpful while trouble shooting.

  2. mbam 2016

Support MBAM Services on Windows Server 2016/2019 systems. We have Physical servers with TPM and bitlocked drives but are unable to leverage the MBAM client and policies on Server class operating systems.

  3. OneTrace log viewer: Monospaced fon like Courier New or Consola

All the free "tail" tools use a monospaced font like Courier New or Consola. It is mandatory from my point of view to display correctly "tabulated" info.
At the same time, an option should prevent removing leading spaces (same reason: get columns that look like columns)

  4. Prioritize application installation/removal and hold reboots until all deployments are complete.

I worked with Radia for many years. Two things from Radia we miss are the ability to set priority and holding reboots until the end of all deployments. For priority, we could set a value of 1 to 99 on an application. Anytime there were multiple deployments to a device they would be performed in low to high number priority order for install and reverse for uninstall. Uninstalls would occur first. We could also set reboot=reallysuppress in any msiexec command line and set a flag on the application to reboot on install, uninstall, update, etc. Radia would then wait untilā€¦

  5. Expired MEM evaluation lab kit

The current MEM evaluation lab kit expired on February 7, 2021. When will it be updated? I downloaded and installed it just days before its expiration. So how much longer can I keep evaluating it? This isn't documented very well.

Ability to change Branhecache port from client settings. Default port 80 and 443 interfere with Apache Server.

  7. training

Due to the number of changes in the format and features as each new version of SCCM comes out Microsoft could offer training along with links. I wasn't sure what category to put this under.

  8. Controlled UX for a Reboot Notification

SCCM Reboot notification should have some checks and balances, Like reboot, prompt should not come if a user is in a presentation or Zoom Calls.
We should be given control to include the process in a Client setting to be checked if in use and control prompting for a Reboot and once all checks pass, the Client setting should trigger and the user experience should get a popup for a reboot.

This will help to continue with a standard reboot experience with all deployments including patching and no customer scripts needs to be developed

If you get an option toā€¦

  9. Desktop Analytics Tool Showing False compatibilitiy

We are trying to migrate from Win 10 1809 to 1909 and while checking compatibility details software like Symantec End Point protection, Cloud Strike and others are showing compatible however while running actual upgrade, we could see SEP and Cloud Strike blocking the deployment.

Same behavior we have observed with Win 10 1909 to Win 10 20H2.

  10. Ability to grab drivers in DA

A button of some sort to grab all the drivers that "needs remediation" or after you have reviewed all the drivers right on the DA azure site.

  11. ipv6 relay encapsulation support

This will probably be very low prio for most people, but here goes. when SCCM PXE is done in an IPv6 network, where DHCP is handled over a dhcp relay, PXE boot may fail with error "invalid packet structure".
cause analysis led to the following statement:

"Your relay agent is encapsulating the original DHCPv6 packet in a relay-forward message (12). This is currently not supported by the SCCM PXE server. The SCCM PXE server currently only supports bare forwarded DHCPv6 packets.

DHCPv6 message 12 is a quite tricky for the current SCCM PXE server because you can have nested message12s."

  12. Tenant Attach multiple device selection

Have the possibility to multi-select devices, like we can do in ConfigMgr, mainly for CMPivot scenarios when helpdesk would like to check for more than one device without having to use the stand-alone CMPivot tool.

  13. View software updates in the Company Portal

Have the ability to see/manage software updates in the Company Portal the same way we do in Software Center so that we can only use the Company Portal for all Mem's stuff on clients

  14. Allow a list of user entered Windows Services to be queried at once with CMPivot

Today it appears that only 2 Windows Services can be entered into a CMPivot query and have it return results. I would like to be able to enter a whole list of Services (up to 25-50) at once and have it return results.

Perhaps it can do this now but I am unable to find any documentation on how this query is written. As soon as I add more than 2 services it returns "unable to parse query" message

  15. Allow the Windows "Setup" EventLog to be queried with CMPivot

Today it appears that the Windows Setup Eventlog is unable to be queried with CMPivot. This is the Log that shows which MS Updates have been installed and lists their status (ie..pending reboot, installed successfully, Failed install..etc)

I'm using SCCM Current Branch 2006 today which is supposedly using the WinEvent() method to pull messages from Event Logs on remote machines but all attempts to pull the "setup" Log never return any data that I know is there.

Perhaps this is possible today but I have been unable to find any documentation or example online how to pull the Events fromā€¦

  16. Support other WMI Namespaces in CMPivot

CMPivot should support addittional WMI Namespaces outside root/cimv2 such as root\wmi

There are a number of useful classes there that cannot be queried by CMPivot today such as BatteryCyclecount (as far as I can determines anyway)

  18. Add TimeOut per CI as well as a "Global" timeout for a Baseline. Or include "Simulate" a baseline to allow remediation before deployment.

Quite a few PowerShell commands runs longer than the normal Time-out setting on a CI for a Baseline and this results in multiple "Time-out" failures which are false positives. This impact the stats and reporting results. Either add a Time-out Override, Customization or similar to allow these to go through. Also include a simulate Baseline to remediate and test a baseline before it goes out to production.

  19. Task sequence deployment to run when no user is logged on.

It would be great to have the same user experience conditions available in Application deployments for Task Sequence deployments. That way we could deploy required in-place upgrades of Win10 that will install once the user logs off and not rely on the user to start the Available deployment themselves.

  20. Multiple SUP Servers and shared db, better fault tolerance

If you have multiple SUP Servers and shared database, WSUS Sync manager selects one SUP server randomly from usable SUPs.
But if this selected SUP server can't contact Microsoft Update, the sync process fails.
Instead of stopping the whole process, would it be better to select next available SUP server and see if that one works any better?
