Support OSD over Wireless
As more and more devices are shipping without wired network adapters, and more business areas are going "wireless only," the traditional ability to reimage a device in place is getting scarce. This is especially true in primary and secondary education institutions.
Please provide support for adding Wireless drivers to WinPE, and the ability to provision wireless network profiles for the WinPE phase of the task sequence to enable imaging over wireless network connections.
504 votesUpdating this item as there’s support for Windows 10 In-place upgrade using the Cloud Management Gateway – see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sccm/core/plan-design/changes/whats-new-in-version-1802
Adding this in case some folks missed it or Win 10 In-place upgrade addresses their requirement.I recognize this it not full OS Deployment as there’s no WinPE phase (WinPE has no wireless stack)

Allow the Client Upgrade to be performed outside maintenance windows
We would like the Client Upgrade feature to allow the client to be upgraded outside of maintenance windows but also give the option to only install when no user is logged in, like deploying Applications allow.

ADR Available Deployments
I would like to see ADR's support the creation of Available deployments in addition to Required deployments. We have some business cases where a certain subset of servers are aren't allowed to "push" software updates to until the server/app owners have verified the patches.
The issue is that these servers don't have connectivity to the internet so we have to deliver them via ConfigMgr. By creating an Available update using an ADR, it streamlines our ability to "deliver" the updates to all systems, and allow the Patching Team, or App/Server owner to patch according to their own business schedules.

Software Center "Sort by" default view
Change default "sort by" order from "Most recent" to Alphabetic list (Application name A-Z). Or remember the setting for the client. Or allow a SysAdmin setting for site-wide default setting. It always resets back to Most recent.

Start ProgressUI after reboot in Task Sequence at logon screen (non OS TS)
When you use Task Sequences (TS) to deploy software (non OS TS) and there is a reboot inside of the TS there will be no ProgressUI at the logon Screen after the reboot. So you can't see the Progress of the running TS or there is a TS running.
If You logon, after a short time the ProgressUI will start.
We started a MS Case (REG:116092814729429): This is a expected behavior because it's not planned for out of WinPE stage. Please implement the start of the ProgressUI after the reboot inside of the TS, so we can see the Progress…

Enable DA without the need of SCCM
The pro of Windows Analytics was that you can configure it in every environment without the need to have SCCM or Intune configured.
Please re enable this way of deployment, also if it's limited to Read-only insights or some features.376 votes -
Remote Control: Improve Multi-Monitor Experience
Business Case (I know how you PMs love these):
The current CB 1902 implementation is going to make this conversation part of our helpdesk script:
“What screen is the app on?”
“Can you move that window to the monitor where X is showing?”
“No, not that one.”
“Nope, still don’t’ see it”
“Ok let me reconnect in full screen, please accept the prompt again.”
“No no no, don’t hang up the phone, that’s not how this works.”
“Ok, you should see a prompt to allow me to connect.”
“Nope it’s there, trust me.”
“Got it, thanks. Ok, let me move…370 votesNoted ·AdminMark Silvey - ConfigMgr Product Team (Engineering Manager, ConfigMgr, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) responded

Support Phased Deployments in Automatic Deployment Rules
I think this is pretty straight-forward. If the Phased Deployment feature is to become a thing for software updates it needs to be supported as part of ADRs. If organizations are manually deploying updates then they're simply doing it wrong. If anyone thinks I'm transitioning from automated deployments to manual phased deployments they vastly underestimate my laziness.

Complete Group Policy Integration
Configuration Manager should be able to configure all aspects of a workstation that can be done using other Microsoft tools. Some group policy items already exist such as folder redirection and Firewall Policies. It would be great if Firewall could be expanded to include creation of firewall exceptions. It would also be great if we could configure all group policies from within SCCM perhaps using compliance settings.

windows 10 upgrade servicing
Support SUP/ESD/WSUS/update-based packages via the "Upgrade Operating System" task sequence step so that task sequence-driven upgrades can benefit from the smaller size of the ESD files (2.5GB) compared to the full media used today (3.5GB).

Integrate Microsoft LAPS Functionality
The Microsoft Local Admin Password Solution (LAPS) is great because of the security it provides, but is not in widespread use because it isn't enabled by default and requires desktop/server teams to work together to implement.
Integrate the functionality of Microsoft LAPS into the ConfigMgr infrastructure.
This could include simple steps to control replace the group policy need with a new compliance item node, or could include completely supplanting of the functionality (similar to how MBAM makes it so you don't need AD for managing BitLocker recovery keys).
Anything that ConfigMgr can do to bring down the bar for securing…

Deploy Package to Multiple Collections at one time
Allow packages to be deployed to multiple collections at one time. For instance I need AppX to go to Lab 1, Lab 2 and Lab4. Instead of going into AppX 3 different times to deploy, it would be nice to deploy it to all 3 labs at one time.

This can be done today w/ #SCCM 1802 (and previous versions too). I will mark started… and watch comments for why this doesn’t just work… before I mark this straight up completed…
Steps:
1) On the CAS (or standalone primary), go to Administration → Hierarchy Configuration → Discovery methods
2) right click on Active Directory System Discovery and bring up the Properties form. Active Directory Attributes tab, and then click on Custom. In the form that appears, type the name of the attribute. Click OK, and make sure you have added it as an attribute to discover. Run discovery after exiting properties form.
3) Now when you go to the Devices view and right click on a device and go to its Properties form, you will see the new attribute showing up there. -

Mark easy way to query Driver Versions of all drivers on a system.
Please make an easy way to query Driver Versions of all drivers on a system from SCCM Hardware inventory without creating a custom MOF or looking at registry files? I found a forum thread on TechNet a few years old that said Microsoft said that using WMI class win32_pnpsigneddriver was unreliable and is why it was not available in SCCM hardware inventory and they were considering removing the class entirely. However the class remains in win 10 and is still the only way to query driver version using a script. It would be really useful to be able to have…
