With ConfigMgr recently changing the icon size to a high resolution spec it has created a world of hurt and a manual task to create the icons again.
ConfigMgr should provide a feature that auto includes icons / logos for known vendors from a central repository. It would cut down a lot of time for admins around the world and keep the catalogue looking pretty and consistent.0 votes
Please add an update status for the site systems when upgrading to a new CB.
It is required to have an update status for the entire hierarchy, not only the site server as it is today.0 votes
You should be able to create a conditional access rule that only the computers with the latest Windows 10 build can access corporate resources.
The latest version is required because it might introduce new security features or some other functionality.0 votes
It would be so handy to have a "View Grid" option in the Report Builder design view with a "Snap to grid" feature. This will make designing the reports so much easier to align objects and text boxes etc.0 votes
When you add 3rd party drivers/software/firmware updates to update catalog, you can only filter updates by names that might get confusing when you have multiple vendors. Right now the product for HP is either Firmware/Software/Driver. We can only assume Lenovo, Dell, ... Will have the same and it Will be confusing. HP Driver/HP Software/HP Firmware would make more sence and make filtering easier.0 votes
Could logging for content library be improved.
Recently had a situation where the ini, sig files weren't created in the FileLib. Noticed the logs weren't helpful when it came to actions managing the content library on distribution points. This made resolving difficult.0 votes
It would be useful if in the console each application deployment type had its own "Size" column, and maybe the application itself could have a "total size" column of all the deployment types combined.0 votes
An option to configure a DP such that it only downloads the distributed content from the site when the first client requests for it.
An option to configure a DP such that it only downloads the distributed content from the site when the first client requests for it. This will help manage DP disk space efficiently as most of the content never gets used at a remote site but we do not know what's really needed in advance. With semi annual channels the content problem is getting worse each day.
Below is the config manager thread I had opened and an expert asked me to submit a request here.0 votes
Provide a dashboard or view that displays the current month's software updates. Allow for selecting of updates and a button to create a software update group directly. Basically, simplify the process of identifying the updates needed to deploy each month.0 votes
Ability to move Distribution point from one secondary site server to another secondary site server' has been merged into this idea
when we need to remove secondary site server or when need to rebuild secondary site server with another site code. A full uninstall and re install required for all Distribution points associated with that secondary site.
Also when we need to move a DP from one site code to another site code, it requires uninstall / re install….to avoid this it will be helpful to have ability to move DP’s between secondaries.0 votes

This behavior is currently by design. We do not clean up AM policy after the client is uninstalled. This is something we can consider revisiting in a future release.

It would be really nice to be able to see a list of the collections that are limited to a specific collection with a tab on the properties of that collection.0 votes
A good feature to include is the ability to scan a server/workstation and find software that is at or nearing end of life state.1 vote
When an administrative user who does not have permission to delete resources tries to delete a collection, the confirmation UI displayed reads as though the resources WILL be deleted due to the missing checkbox. Perhaps changing the UI so that the checkbox is there but grey'd out as unchecked or remove the "Delete each collection member from the database" text.0 votes
I would like the Possibility to set for how long and deploy application should be ""new" in Software Center
Today it's say every time I log on that i have I new application available in software center.
I might already have installed or don't want to install it.
Should be good that we have a setting that control this so we could set it to show 2-3 time or for 1-2 day0 votes
Now that we have the ability in TP1706 to upload and run PowerShell scripts against endpoints, it has exposed the need to be able to tab complete and validate syntax with intellisense from the console. I'm not asking you to recreate the PowerShell ISE/VSCode, just some rudimentary intellisense for when you are working on the Admin Console.0 votes
I'm not sure whether the "Evaluate Software Update Deployments" Client Notificaction runs a previous scan cycle.
I implemented a Powershell script to do that but I strongly think that it should appear as a Client Notification in the same way it appears in the "Config Manager" Control Panel at the client computers.0 votes
Please add a possibility to specify a user which the ADR will use to download the content.
In a infrastructure with a DMZ and a own untrusted domain, it is not possible to set a user which is downloading the Updates from a WSUS. Till now SCCM is always using the system account of the Site Server to download the Updates.0 votes
Absolutely love the 'Task Sequences' tab that's been added to Applications in the console, but it seems as though it doesn't report on apps that are in a disabled 'Install Applications' step in a Task Sequence.0 votes
