  1. Add a status of 'Skipped, prestaged content mode' for content distribution. Currently this appears as 'in-progress'.

Add a status of 'Skipped, prestaged content mode' or 'waiting, maintenance mode' for content distribution. Distribution points in prestaged mode are skipped and not processed, yet the status states 'in-progress'.

  4. pull distribution source

I would suggest one pull distribution poin to pull content from more than one source DP at the same time.

  5. Add detection methods based on the absence of files or folders.

This option can be useful when you have two deployments that have almost the same detection methods, the same collection (or two collections containing the same computers) to target, and one of them replaces the other. Otherwise you have to mutliply collections or global conditions, which overload the server unnecessarily.

This also poses a reinstallation problem, the replaced application is systematically detected and uninstalled and its replacement is reinstalled at each application deployment evaluation cycle.

For example, the application A has for detection method "The file f1 exists" and the application B for for detection method "The file f1 and…

  6. client issues in 1610

We are facing issues with the new client in 1610. mainly it is very slow to load and returns errors at time. The service does not respond to restart calls. Finally, Sorting by status for installations does not work as expected.

  8. add application catalogue install report

It would be useful to be able to have a default report created which shows the total number of software installed through the catalogue method. This would be useful when reporting back to management the amount of time saved through end users installing themselves, rather than time spent pushing out, amending collections, or manually installing.

  9. Tool to find out what cause SCCM Client installation/Communication failure on Workstations

In our environment SCCM Server installs client on discovered resource but they failed to install due to machine specific issue, could you prepare a tool which we can give it to floor support technician to run on machine which have SCCM Client issue or Installation failure, the tool should check for all prerequisites for client install also firewall issues like (WMI and File and Print sharing not allowed ) it should the issue with which it becomes easy to fix the underlying problem and get the sccm client successfully deployed

  12. As soon as possible behavior for existing deployments

When you update a deployment and change the 'Schedule the application to be available at', if 'As soon as possible after the available time' is ticked this should automatically update the installation deadline to be the same. I have had deployments go out as the schedule is earlier than the available time.

  13. Servicing Plans List (Deployment?)

It would be nice if you could quickly be able to see where a Service Plan is deployed like in the Software Update Groups with the tabs at the bottom after selecting a Update Group. With Service Plans today you have to open the properties of the Service Plan to see exactly what device collection is it being deployed to.

  14. Trim the Address Field in CM Remote Control

Please apply a simple string trim to the address field. A lot of copy and pasting goes on leading to an extra space that the tool take literally and refuses to connect. A small, simple thing, but something that can be frustrating.

  15. Fiding it difficult to find documentation on how to setup UE-V with SCCM and Windows 10, config item and baselines

I cant find the documentation on how to configure UE-V, Config item and Baselines with Windows 10 and SCCM. It all seems a bit fragmented. most of it relates to Windows 7.

1607-1 has the EU-V client build in and some templates on the clients but how do I set this up without using any group policies to set the template paths, and how do Baselines work.

  16. SCCM Reports: Add capability to search for compliance by IAVM

Request SCCM enhancement to search for compliance by IAVM# (IAVA, IAVB) for either Enterprise-level or individual site under SCCM reports. A single IAVM may have several KB #'s (ex: MS patches) or there are very limited search capabilities for most 3rd party applications. Capability to capability to search SCCM reports by IAVM# will reduce amount of time in searching/compiling compliance metrics and will allow for quicker reporting of overall compliance.

  17. Phased deployments - Parent/Limiting and Child Collections

When creating a phased deployment, I would like to define a parent collection (for example, “All Win7” workstations) that will serve as a limiting collection for the collections defined on each phase. This would allow me to create collections for each phase (like rings; for example: Canary, Pilot, Production) that could be used across various phased deployments.

That way, if I target a Windows 10 Upgrade TS to my “All Win7” collection, with phases targeting the Canary, Pilot, and Production collections, it would go like this:
    - PCs in the Canary collection that are also in All Win7
    - PCs…

  18. Enable Performance Counters for all Components

Expose Performance Counters for all ConfigMgr Components, and extend beyond the basic performance counter-set on offer today.

This will allow us to implement solutions around monitoring the product in finer detail, as well as provide a rich backdrop for troubleshooting analysis.

  20. IN CMPivot, cached data from DB should still be listed for systems that report failure due to unsupported PS version

Scenario: using CMPivot to query a collection 'All servers' to report on compliance for this months bundled updates, based on KB article ID.

Some systems report an unsupported version of PowerShell and so they don't show up in the results. However, some of these WOULD report as compliant if the cached data from the SCCM DB would be displayed, as is the case for offline systems for which the cached data is displayed in light grey.

I suggest that the PS version be displayed as a warning/failure, yet still to display the cached information if any.
