  1. Include Right Click Option to delete from multiple Roles

When right clicking a Device Collection or just a Computer Name in SCCM can you add the option of deleting not just from the SCCM Console but from AD and WSUS? One click option to delete from all 3 areas at the same time? This would help alot managing assets and cleanup.

  2. When you target users with an application that requires approval can that be shown in deployment monitoring as Waiting Approval?

When you target users with an available application that requires approval can that be shown in deployment monitoring as Waiting Approval after users have requested and as Approved once approved?

  3. Add link to monitoring deployment from SUP

Whenever you are in Software Update Groups looking at the Statistics, it would be nice to click a link to view the deployment instead of having to click on Monitoring - Deployments find the deployment and view the status.

Even having the ability to right click on a SUG and View Status (like you get when you are in Deployments)

  4. deploy to operating system image

When I do my monthly patch Tuesday deployments; it would be great if in addition to targeting a device collection you could also target one or more operating system images.

This would allow me to deploy all corporately approved updates not only to our systems but the images that we use to build future systems with.

  5. Copy Packages

With the application model, I can right click an application and copy the settings. Under Packages, I cannot copy a package easily.

  6. Block a specific application on client machines

There should be option in client settings or windows defender policies to block an application.

  8. Upgrade Operating System Built-in Step: Add Option to Keep Files Only

Customer does not have the store installed and using the built-in TS step keeps files and apps. I know that the "OSDSetupAdditionalUpgradeOptions" variable can be used, but it would be nice to have the option on the built-in TS step.

    Thanks for responding.

We cannot provide a different migration options for the reasons I outlined below. Anything other than ‘Applications, Data and Settings’ will leave the machine unmanaged – while we developed the new upgrade step we tested them all.

I’ll see if I can source steps for reinstalling the Store without having to complete a restore.

  9. Ability to run SCCM Update prerequisite check again if failed

If you did not run a prerequisites check prior to installing the Configuration Manager and it fails you aren't able to run it again. The run prereq check button is greyed out and if you use Retry installation any warnings during prereq checks are ignored.

It would be great if the Run prerequisites button would be available in this scenario to run it again without ignoring the warnings.

  10. ADR – Software Updates Property Filters

When creating a new ADR software update you have the option to select the property filters and search criteria’s in the wizard. It would be beneficial for an advanced search technique or “wild card” to identify those filters that are broader. For Example: -%Cumulative Update for .NET Framework%Windows 10 Version 1809

  11. campaigning notifications or UI for Inplace windows Upgrades

Instead of relying on custom powershell script for customization and UI design ,Is it not good to have some options in CM directly which can be used for every release of windows rollouts to have better user experience.

and may be some notifications msgbox about releases like a campaigning through SCCM.

  12. When entering NEW IP Subnet convert them to IP Range

Since you need to enter the subnet mask when entering an IP Subnet, it would make sense to convert these to IP Ranges. Then add the subnet details to the description. The major benefit of this is to allow for better boundary reporting. Using the table BoundaryEx which listed the NumbaricValueLow and NumericValueHigh value you can easily determine if a client belong to that IP Range. This is done by using the fnGetNumericIPAddress function.

  14. Add a status of 'Skipped, prestaged content mode' for content distribution. Currently this appears as 'in-progress'.

Add a status of 'Skipped, prestaged content mode' or 'waiting, maintenance mode' for content distribution. Distribution points in prestaged mode are skipped and not processed, yet the status states 'in-progress'.

  17. pull distribution source

I would suggest one pull distribution poin to pull content from more than one source DP at the same time.

  18. Add detection methods based on the absence of files or folders.

This option can be useful when you have two deployments that have almost the same detection methods, the same collection (or two collections containing the same computers) to target, and one of them replaces the other. Otherwise you have to mutliply collections or global conditions, which overload the server unnecessarily.

This also poses a reinstallation problem, the replaced application is systematically detected and uninstalled and its replacement is reinstalled at each application deployment evaluation cycle.

For example, the application A has for detection method "The file f1 exists" and the application B for for detection method "The file f1 and…

  19. client issues in 1610

We are facing issues with the new client in 1610. mainly it is very slow to load and returns errors at time. The service does not respond to restart calls. Finally, Sorting by status for installations does not work as expected.
