  1. SCCM Client Actions: Add 'Run All' button

On client machines, in Configuration Manager Properties and the Actions tab I would like to see the addition of a 'Run All' button rather than having to click on each individual action and then click Run Now.

    Thanks,

    Andrew

  2. Allow Users to have more than 10 votes on UserVoice

Currently the site is limited to 10 votes only. This means that after giving my votes to other people's ideas I can't create a new feedback item. If you value field feedback, feedback should not be limited to a number of votes.

Revising status to more accurate – the idea was declined two years ago because the team at the time did not receive a timely response.

If you’re still interested in seeing something like this documented, please file a GitHub Issue. Either go to the article in which such content should reside, and click Feedback. Or go directly to https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/SCCMdocs/issues and click New Issue.

  4. Many ideas

It will be great to introduce:
    - A real time installation progress for client deployment with % and step details (in the collection column for example) ...
    - An automatic clean rollback for software updates deployment when an issue is happen.
    - All client actions from the console (like right click tools).
    - more possibilities from the remote control like files transfert and chat...
    - Approval request by email (submit and receive).
    - Full management for Windows firewall (create protocol, rules, exception ... like from GPO).
    - Endpoint client push deployment on one client or on a collection.

  6. Allow multiple languages to be corrected at the same time

I have been using Word for years to write essays, presentations, etc; and as far as I'm aware, it does not seem to be possible to add multiple languages as the spelling-checker. I find myself, and just like probably many other people, to be writing stuff like taking notes, in two languages sometimes, and everytime I must select the text and put the right language in the spelling checker settings, which takes me useless time and could definitely be improved. Hence, my suggestion is to add some kind of 'multiple language spelling checker' option which would allow us to write…

  7. Remote Device Actions SCCM - Send Sync Request to Multiple Devices at Once (Bulk Sync)

Currently you are able to click on a single device and one at a time complete a remote device action of send sync request. This can get cumbersome when trying to refresh a whole fleet of devices. I would like the ability to send a remote sync request to multiple devices at once either by collection or by highlighting multiple devices in the console and selecting option.

  8. Configuration Manager Wi-fi Profile deployment

Intune wifi profiles deployment states that it is not possible to add proxy settings to anything else that iOS and Mac OS, as per : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/intune/deploy-use/wi-fi-connections-in-microsoft-intune . Same settings , not stated that this is not working for SCCM , even if in the backend it is the same feature. Could you please check and reflect the proper information on the Configuration manager documentation ?

  9. Change of Windows Server Edition supported?

Please add a statement whether it is supported to cdhange the Windows Server Edition from Standard to Datacenter on an installed Site Server. The article https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sccm/core/plan-design/configs/site-and-site-system-prerequisites#bkmk_generalprerewq already contains a list what cannot be changed after Installation, changin the Edition is nowhere mentioned. For a change of the SQL Server Edition a statement exists as well.

  10. Document application catalog certificate change process

There are several cases when a certificate change on a Application Catalog will need the role to be reinstalled (or switched from https to http and back). It is noted in the bolg https://cloudblogs.microsoft.com/enterprisemobility/2012/07/05/tips-and-tricks-for-deploying-the-application-catalog-in-system-center-2012-configuration-manager/ but should be within the docs to minimize application deployment outtages.

  13. SCCM Database ERD

You should provide an entity relationship diagram (ERD) of the SCCM database. I realize all over your website you give the usual feedback about the views being sufficient for reporting, and that we should use the console, etc. However, this is complete nonsense in the age of big data. Database analysts like myself need to harvest data for custom use beyond typical reporting and console options. Not having an ERD means reverse engineering the database. This becomes very time consuming as we must attempt to figure it out for ourselves, then perform data validation to make sure we figured it…

With the exception of documented views, via the SMS Provider, or through the Data Warehouse feature, the database is not an extensibility point for the product.

The database itself is meant to be a black box and we don’t support any changes made to it outside of the product itself. Underlying tables, stored procedures, triggers, and functions can and do change from release to release.

With that said, I’d like to flip this request around. What scenarios are you trying to accomplish today that you cannot do with existing and documented functionality? We could look into ways to better enable these through supported channels.

  14. CMTrace should be available outside of product installation

Need to make this available outside of the CD.Latest folder on the site server. This is used for cloud-only intune customers that don't have a site server.

Thanks for your feedback. Intune customers should also be entitled to Configuration Manager which licenses them to use CMTrace in their environments. We have no plans to distribute it as a standalone download but there are options.

You can copy it from an existing Current Branch site from the cd.latest folder to other machines, or you can get it from the Configuration Manager 2012 R2 Toolkit at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=50012.

We can and do make improvements to CMTrace in CB releases, so my recommendation is to get it from the cd.latest folder but if you are in an environment where there is no Configuration Manager at all, you can use the version from the R2 toolkit.

  15. Bring back readyforwindows.com

Bring back readyforwindows.com. Not everyone uses CM. readyforwindows.com contained public domain knowledge that was very handy. We can even look up software versions that we may consider evaluating that are not even in our environment yet. readyforwindows.com was a valuable resource that is sorely missed. We feel like we are now flying blind without it.

  16. Custom Client Settings and Hardware Inventory Class setting Merge

Custom Client Settings and Hardware Inventory Class Merge

Request is to Add some more details to explain the behaviour with respect to multiple custom client setting and Hardware Inventory merge on this page.
    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh301103.aspx

if we could just mention, not checking a class in a custom client setting with highest priority doesn't mean the class would not be inventoried. Not checking a class doesn't mean disabled. it's like not configured. So if someone has to not inventory a particular class on most of the machine except few. Then they have to work around with disabling the class on default client…

  17. Improve documentation for OMS connector setup procedure

If you walk through the documentation for setting up the OMS connector, the guide is a little vague, it covers the connection - assuming that all went perfect and connected with out a problem.
I'm following the guides as outlined here ;https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/log-analytics/log-analytics-sccm#provide-configuration-manager-with-permissions-to-oms

Step #3 > Step #4.. doesn't cover the scenario where the azure subscription drop-downs are blank.

Step #4 simply says "If you accomplished all the other procedures successfully".. so what do you do when it doesn't ?

It gives no indication on what to look for. I did find another guide from here https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/Configure-OMS-Connection-9c9e6bc3, but this…
