  1. Possibility to launch the software updates dialog directly instead of the "balloon"

    Many users tend to miss the balloon notifying them of available updates, when the deadline hits, they get surprised by the coming restart.
    We'd like the possibility to launch the updates dialog directly, without having the user to click on the balloon, forcing the users to make an active choice whether to postpone the update or install it directly.

  2. Software Center should have the UI to show realtime status info of client

    This will help the 1st line support to gather more client information without having to contact 2nd line specialists, and possibly solve more incidents on their own.

    The Software Center, when launched, should be able to read and display client status information and connectivity with server in a simplified UI, understandable to the Service Desk employees/ 1st line support.

    This can include Policy evaluation status, connectivity with management point, certificate status, app-evaluation status, etc

  3. Show download status of 'pre-download content' enbled upgrade task sequences in Software Center

    Show download status of 'pre-download content' enbled upgrade task sequences in Software Center, e.g. 'Available 0% downloaded' -> 'Available 100% downloaded'. I have quite offten users running away from office and trying to run the upgrade via VPN, but the content is not fully downloaded.

  4. Software Center: Multiuser view for Deployed Apps

    On the Software Center when you Install the CM-Agent on a Server, it is possible that two Users have a RDP Session open, the first Logged in User can see Deployed Apps in the SW-Center, the second User can see Deployed Apps only when the first User Logs off or disconnect his session.
    When you have Patch Deployment, every logged in User can see all Patch-Deployments.
    It would be nice to have that also for App-Deployment.

  5. Software Center deadline message change is needed

    Please find the attached file.

    "Software changes must be applied to your computer after 2018-03-22 at 11:00 AM"message we get in software center as per the deadline configuration from the software updates deployment which implies that you *must* apply this update after 2018-03-22 at 11:00 AM, which is clearly not the case. Instead add the deadline to the second line. Here's the example.

    "The required changes will be applied after 2018-03-22 at 11:00 AM or you can have Software Center apply the changes:"

  6. Client Notification Balloon\Toast when closed without selecting anything by clicking 'X' on the dialoge box. Notification stops coming

    When we deploy any application with deadline, depending on the client setting. it start giving notification to the end user ( eg every 15 min when 1 hour is left for deadline). In this situation if end user click on the notification and then just simply close it without selecting any of the option like "Remind me Later" or any other available option. Simply closing it with click on "X" on the upper right corner. Notification stops coming until the deadline is reached.

  7. New Software Center - Add new dropdown to filter user and device deployed application

    In new software center. we can see both user and device based available deployments inside application tab. it's more difficult to identify which one is device and which one is user based targeted.

    If we add one more column to filter the deployment like user and device.

  8. Improve Software Center Machine Policy Eval (Push Notifications)

    I can't tell you how many time I have changed content on actively deployed app and told the client to pull new policy and just waited. In JAMF it's instant, but software center is slow and I mean hours some times. Please for the sanity of your users massively improve Software Center... Consider something like push notifications, a button to force all new policy, something!

  9. Hide Task Sequence deployments

    When deploying an application or program via a task sequence, there is no way to hide it in software center.

  10. Extend 'Share' feature in Software Center to Task Sequences

    Extend the 'Share' function to Task Sequences. In other words, allow task sequences to be shared, just like Applications can be.
    Use case for this would be for a feature update task sequence.
    We'd like users to be able to double click on a desktop shortcut that takes them right to the TS within the software center. Currently, we get around this by creating an application that executes a powershell command to execute the task sequence, but this is not ideal. Native Share support for task sequences would be ideal for this. #mmsmoa

  11. Have the "Unable to make changes to your software" window show more information by default

    A simple change that would save a lot of time and back and forth with tickets. Just have the "Unable to make changes to your software" window show the "more information" details by default. I can't count the number of times I get this as a screenshot and then have to say "click open the more information drop down and tell me what it says there". Better yet? Just put it directly under the "Status: Failed" on the details screen, and save everyone some clicking.

  13. software center improvement

    The new software center is integrating with the application catalog.
    As a result, when an end user opens his software center, new required applications will get lost in the long list of other items that are already made available.
    Suggestion is to create a new item called "Software offerings" or "Software Catalog", and have that lower on the left-pane list.
    The application tab on top should only show required software

  14. Show localized descriptions for programs in all Software Center view options

    We use our Software Center for a LOT of apps for general user use. The general complaint I have received lately is that there are so many apps users don't know what is optional and what is recommended for our domain. I am recommending the option or change to include some of the localized description OR at the very least show the User categories for each application in all the view modes for Software Center to help users determine if they are optional or recommended software. All views already show publisher and version.

  15. Allow Multiple Custom Tabs in Software Center and define it as a custom home tab

    I understand that you have already made this request here, but reinforce that the vast majority of organizations undergoing digital transformation need a friendly Software Center with a more refined usability and this includes a deeper personalization than just a custom tab.

    We believe that if you allow the customization of multiple tabs and allow us to define one of them as home, we can customize and centralize the use of the software center avoiding people asking for the service desk.

  16. Allow user to block full day for business hour

    Allow option for user to set 12am to 12am for a day in the business hour setting, currently the option available for users must include at least 4 hours system maintenance tasks per day

  17. Application Catalog add remote connect to Agent/computer to install App remotely.

    Add Remote support for Web Software Catalog. Right now When opening the Web catalog and run an install it will install on the client where the web page was open from. I would like to see that you can connect to remotely to a computer, then run the install for that device. This will take care of install software to one computer, For help desk this will be use full with out access to the console. Just add the software available to the user who logs into the web catalog. Remote connect to the computer on the page and clickā€¦

  18. Add an Application Version column to Software Center

    Add an application version column to Software Center. Now people can get confused if more versions of an application are available. The version is mentioned under in the window but this is only visible if you click an application in the software center. You can add the version to the name but that gives double version messages at the end of an installation. And it would be nice if it was possible to organize the colums by use of client settings in the admin console.

  19. translate configmgr related popups on non english windows clients properly, or make it possible to customize popups and notifications

    software center notifications are not translated properly, if u use a non english windows client. it would be great to correct this or give our customers the possibility to customize these popup messages.

  20. Add Actions to Software Center

    Could the Actions tasks be added to Software Center? It would save some steps refreshing content.
