Content Status Node - have "Pending" column as a default column?
Be nice to see the Pending column as a default column instead of adding it each time.

AD Forest Discovery: More information for subnets
When doing an AD Forest Sync with subnet import enabled. Could SCCM also import the subnet location and description attributes so when looking at boundaries in the console we have more detailed information?

DP Priority via GUI
Please make the Priority setting on DPs a configurable setting via the UI.
Our DPs follow a different naming convention based on their location. If we update a package it adds the DPs to the queue in alphabetical order. Some DP’s are more important than others but they are added last only because of the name.

FileReplication using Cloud DP
MPLS/ P2P lines usually have less bandwidth then WAN lines.
it will be great benefit to add option for Primary site/ CAS to update Cloud DP, and configure other DP to pull the data from the Cloud DP instead of replication over MPLS lines.1 vote -
Configmgr community access for non-Internet connected systems
I manage systems that cannot be connected to the Internet. I would like to have a way to view and download Configmgr Community resources from a Internet connected system and transfer it to the non-Internet connected system.

Driver Content De-Duplication on Package Source & Content Library
Today, we all spend a lot of time and efforts managing the drivers. I believe it is (Almost perfect)ConfigMgr's biggest area of improvement as of today. There should be some kind of automation provided in the way the drivers are downloaded, stored, imported, de-duplicated & decommissioned. Like Software Updates. Now, there are a few community solutions which do a great job of automating lots of stuff but the challenge of minimizing driver footprint on storage & DB still remains.

Show Percentage in Content Status - View Status
When viewing content distribution status for a large package I can hover over the asset detail description and see X% of the sending has already completed, it would be nice to have this near the pie chart, or somewhere more visible

Enable support for Delivery Optimization and Connected cache for Config Manager deployments
If you allow fallback to Windows Update e.g. for Windows Updates or Office 365 Updates, enable config Manager Client to use Delivery Optimization to download content, without the requirement of using co-management.

Content Clean up on CAS
Would like to get an option to perform content clean up on CAS as the content library will consume good amount of disk space.

Remove content when not accessed in X days
Allow a package/application/software update to be configured to be removed if not access in X days. (7 day to 180 days). This allow you to remove software taking up space on the site servers/CMG. A warning should be added when selected that tells the admin, "It is recommended that this package should reside within the default boundary group to allow for download fallback once this content is removed" This ensures that if it were removed and by some change a machine did need the content from the Server, it could still receive it, albeit slowly. Console alert notifying the admin…

have client use Connected cache like a distribution point
Ability to have clients only connect to MS connected cache to get DO content (like a DP) instead of going to other peers

Boundary group prioritization
Set priority of Boundary Groups. We are using IP Ranges for Boundary Groups and when working on VPN sometimes Config Manager uses both the clients local IP address and the VPN assigned IP. The device gets assigned to 2 Boundary Groups. In this scenario we want the VPN Boundary Group to be higher priority, but location request is calling back with DP's from all the groups combined and downloading from on prem DP. So basically if device is in overlapping boundary groups we would like some prioritization

Ability to run Content Library Cleanup Tool on Main Site Server
Unlike with Remote DP's, I have been informed that there is not an option to cleanup content on the main site server. Please provide this option in a future release. Thank you.

Allow intranet device to use Primary Site Server for MP, CMG for DP
This would be useful for district sites. It would help reduce on-prem DPs and replace them with the CMG. This could be set in the boundary group settings.

Give an option for Preferred DP within a boundary group
We use branchcache a lot in our environment. It would be helpful for us to have a the same sort of ordering inside a boundary group as we do for client settings - assigning a rank to which DPs (or MPs / SUPs really, but my main concern is DPs) are selected first and then 2nd, 3rd, etc.

Distribute Content - WhatIf
It would be great to be able to Select a Task Sequence, Package, Application, OS Image etc and Distribute Contents with WhatIf functionality.
Example:
Newly created Windows Client Upgrade Task Sequence has been created that has Package references of ‘potentially’ 20 Gb in required disk space (OS Image, Drivers, Office, Language Packs) and we would like to Distribute this to some 30+ DPs, all varying in Free Disk Space (minimum being 14 Gb)The feature of ‘single-instance store’ is great and expect not to require nearly the ‘potential’ 20Gb of free Disk Space, but we do not know the true…

Stale Source Files
I would like to see a report or a tool that runs against all my apps, packages, etc.. and the source location and tell me how many files in the source location are not associated to anything in SCCM, this would be great for O&M and keeping the server healthy.

content library logging
Could logging for content library be improved.
Recently had a situation where the ini, sig files weren't created in the FileLib. Noticed the logs weren't helpful when it came to actions managing the content library on distribution points. This made resolving difficult.0 votes -
Separate content removal and distribution
Currently removing packages etc from an distribution point jams the distribution threads stopping new content going out to distribution points
With 1000s of dp this can be troublesome
Separating this into its own thread will allow content to be sent and removed at the same time0 votes
