SCCM Gateway Servers for Deployment to DMZ's
We should be able to deploy SCCM Gateway servers for deployment to DMZ, Internet and Remote locations where opening ports to the management servers / domains are not feasible. We are unable to forward ports from the internet to our LAN and must use a DMZ. There is no way to implement SCCM for IBCM because of this.
This is working now e2e in 1706. There is one more thing we’d like to fix, which is to have software center (optional software) to work through CMG too. We’ll track that remaining work with this UV:
Any news about this idea ?
In our case the cloud management gateway is not an option as we have a multi layered DMZ and some layers have no internet access. We also have some restricted subnets where no internet access is possible either so a system like the SCOM gateway would be useful.
You remember on-prem right? It's like a cached version of Azure.
Like lthomas asked, is there no plan to get something like SCOM on-prem solution?
Is there plans for an on-premesis solution? Like the gateway that SCOM has.

I agree with this idea, make the support for deploying to DMZ's as easy as SCOM has made it to monitor systems in a DMZ.
