This is needed more than ever, with office 365, Edge, 3rd party updates. come on Microsoft how hard is it to give us some folders.

Add Monitoring / Deployments to this request as it's extremely cumbersome to have all deployments' status lumped under a single display pane. https://configurationmanager.uservoice.com/forums/300492-ideas/suggestions/38092777-monitoring-deployments-sub-folder

Please add this. We have multiple groups that use SCCM for updates (one for workstations, three different groups for different servers related to the business) and would be great to give each group their own folder to reduce clutter and improve organization.

Why has this stalled? It is just simple folder creation. Everywhere else in the console seems to have it.

We would need this as well. You can already create folders under the software updates, just not the software update groups which would make more sense as we have multiple teams managing both workstation and server patching.

yes this would be so much cleaner, especially from an organizational stand point. managing server update groups and client update groups.

My team requires monthly reporting going back 1 year for both servers and workstations. This leaves us with 12 reporting only workstation SUGs and 12 reporting only server SUGs. We also have one SUG for each OS and NonOS. Then there are one-off SUGs we add, such as we find vulnerable servers with Nessus scans and we need to create a separate deployment.
It would be a huge benefit to have a folder for reporting SUGs, folder for Historical, folder for Current, and a folder for Nessus. It would make it all more manageable and less complicated, as currently I'm constantly changing sort order by SUG name, SUG description, or other object sorting.

I just up-voted this one, I agree it would be a nice feature. I would like to move my compliance-only SUGs into a separate folder. Also I am not planning to delete my monthly deployed SUGs so I would like to sort them into folders by year and maybe quarter.

Lots of objects under each of these.
SUG's - monthly for each of many platforms (Servers, W10, W8.1, W7), with rollups also. Some are deployed, some not (be good to be able to put folder just for deployed ones)
Packages - Not monthly, but as above per platform, per year.
ADR's - per platformYes, large number of objects.
Filters and searches won't help

Yeah, I like having a monthly grouping for server and workstations mainly for reporting compliance per month. This adds up to 24 per year. It would be nice to create sub folders under software update groups for each year for organization.

do you have many objects under each of these? Is it just to deal with the large number of objects there? Or are you trying to solve another problem (like filters or automatic grouping?)
