Include a checkbox for BranchCache in Task Sequences
- same as exits for Package/Programs and Apps and Updates!
Updating status to completed.
The option is on the Task Sequence Deployment – Distribution Points page in the Deploy Software Wizard. There’s the option ‘Allow clients to share content with other clients on the same subnet’
hmm, looking at 1602 and don't see anything along these lines unless I'm missing something!?
hi Aaron - of course, this should read - on the Task Sequence Deployment options. With BranchCache - the options to 'Enable by default' as you do with Packages/Programs etc is the way to go. If a system isn't BranchCache enabled - no problem, but this would just keep things inline with other deployment types. Also, it would help in PeerCache enabled deployments where you want to use BranchCache for the Apps/Updates that PeerCache doesn't currently handle. OR - one other approach could be to have a variable? _SMSTSUseBranchCache ?

Hi Phil - this option is actually on the deployment, not the object itself. So to implement as-is for OSD then it would be on the task sequence deployment, thus apply to all content referenced in the task sequence. Is that really what you're asking? Can you uplevel this from a specific implementation to a broader statement of your desired end state? I don't want to assume :)
