Active Setup Integration - Wizard / GUI
Some (MSI) applications (e.g. usually CAD software) will be configured via HKCU Registry hive, files in %appdata% or another files in user paths.
It would be nice if a new user logs on (e.g. after OSD), these settings takes place automatically.
This can already be done rudimentary via Active Setup, but not really comfortable (e.g. you have to do logging by yourself, no out of the box feedback in case of success / errors, etc).
Please integrate Active Setup or a new fully solution for that cases as a GUI / Wizard in Application Management.

I recommend exploring User Environment Virtualization (UEV). I am. It is another option.

Empirum ist another tool for Software deployment. There it is possibility, to install the user-part (HKCU, %userprofile%) for every new user, which logon to the computer, no matter if the user has already a pofile or not.
Why is this function not integrated in SCCM?
It takes too much time to repackage every Setup.exe, and sometimes it is not possible.
Please integrate this function! Thank you very much!
The solution must not necessarily be ActiveSetup. It can be a completely independent solution, but maybe the ActiveSetup technology can be used as basis and will be also supported.

I would definitely use Admin Studio / Installshield to manage my active setup settings rather than doing it in ConfigMgr!
And beware, Active Setup is not supported by Microsoft nor documented. Some day, it will just stop working.
