Add an Alert that shows the state of the CMG Connection Point
Add an Alert that shows the state of the CMG Connection Point.
Currently, I have no automated way to tell if the CMG is healthy unless I go into the console and run the Connection analyzer.
I'd like to see a built-in alert I can configure to notify me if the CMG service is in a non-Ready state, the Connection Point is "disconnected" or the number of "Clients online from CMG" is below a specific threshold.
We are facing frequent disconnection issues in Connection Points towards CMG service in Azure and currently there is no alert for connection point component. We have to rely on SMS_Cloud_Proxyconnector.log only and for this we have to login each time to the connection point server. Kindly enable some kind of alert for CMG connection point.

This happened to us as well. The only way I knew was that I happened to look at monitoring and saw the graph on clients online from CMG drop to 0. I could see errors in the SMS_CLOUD_PROXYCONNECTOR.log (which the connection analyzer mentioned). I was able to resolve this by using the "Configuration Manager Service Manager" to STOP and then START the SMS_CLOUD_PROXYCONNECTOR component. Since the log knows there are issues, this should be alertable.
