Allow users to clear "new software is available" toast message
The "new software is available" toast message is annoying to users who have already checked Software Center and seen that there are no new applications, or that the new applications are ones they don't need or want to install.
- The toast message should align with the state displayed in the Software Center. From the SCNotify logs I can see SCCM thinks there is now software available, but the same packages are not marked as new in Software Center.
- Users should be able to clear the notifications and not see them again until or unless new software is actually available. This is especially the case as the icon is very similar to the forced install icon and so users keep looking and finding nothing.
Actually I'd be happy with just being able to, as a user, disable the toast notifications for new software permanently as currently it's value to the user is negative.
