Allow immediate restart after user-initiated installation in Software Center
If a user initiated the installation of a required deployment (say a feature update) before the deadline, I think we should have an option somewhere, maybe in the deployment settings or in client settings or in Software Center itself, to allow the user to restart the computer immediately.
The current behavior is to always respect the client settings for computer restart. But I think that is more important for installations that start because a deadline has passed. If the user initiates a feature update installation, I don't want the computer to wait for x hours before restarting.

The trigger for the reboot (or at least make it an option) should be based on the install completion time (and not the required deadline time). For example, we are working on a method to upgrade Office 2016 to Office 365. Office 365 strongly recommends restarting after an upgrade from Office 2016. We plan on giving users 4 weeks to opt-in at their convenience. Someone opt-ing in early wouldn’t be required to reboot for 4 weeks based on how it works today.

Agree, if the application is set to restart after install (User Experience: Determine behavior based on return codes (3010 / 1641) OR CM client will force a mandatory device restart), then it should trigger the reboot dialog ASAP after the install. It should not wait for the deadline to reboot, or in the case where it was an available deployment, it would never automatically reboot.
