Explanation of the future of MDM support in SCCM
Hybrid MDM support is deprecated in SCCM. Details of this deprication is here:
If you are a Hybrid customer, Microsoft is very happy to work with you to make your migration to Intune seamless/painless. Please reach out to Microsoft support.
While Hybrid support for MDM is going away, SCCM will innovate together with Intune, and will continue to grow closer together. More capabilities and better together scenarios will be coming soon.
I agree we have a huge mix of Windows and Chromebooks in K12 and want to use SC for Inventory and Tracking

DEP enrollment Profiles "Set as default "
Please add the feature "Set as default" in SCCM DEP Enrollment Profiles so that we don't need to do this manual for the DEP sync devices.
It is in Intune standalone - we just need the same feature in SCCM.

Just as we can choose to only install applications on user's Primary devices, it would be great with the same option for Corporate Owned devices. Then we can deploy certificates, wifi, email, apps and so on to the User and if the user uses a Corporate owned device he will get it installed. It would save time, speed and preserve the User first concept!
can't agree more...maybe at least for inventory /asset management if nothing else.

This may be a long shot, but for K-12 educational customers, Chromebooks are some of the most popular student devices purchased. Continue the trend of "single pane of glass" in the Admin Console and help us manage our Chromebooks from SCCM/Intune.
