Option to clean disk 0 and create temp partition if WinPE staging fails in TS
We have a Win 10 image (X64) and then Win 7 (X86) for legacy apps. For Win10 we use the X64 WinPE image for UEFI. For Win 7 X86 we use the WinPE X86 WinPE image. Both TS (Win 7 and Win 10) is deployed to unknown Computers.
When a support person needs to deploy Win 7, the X86 WinPE image needs to be staged - This sometimes fails as previously Win 10 was deployed and the disk partition is EFI. The staging fails at this point. I know you can just F8, run Diskpart, clean the partition, run the Win 7 Task sequence again and it will stage. Problem is just the support persons forgets to do this every time and they need to be guided through this whole process again and again. Is there a way that a option can be added (maybe a tickbox) to clean the partition and create a temp partition on the disk before the WinPE image gets staged on the disk? This process and script must not be copied to the disk before is it sun as the partition is inaccessible. The "Run another program first" option doesn't run before the WinPE staging process.
