SQL Native Client
The Components which were installed during the SCCM Setup should be updated during the Current Branch process if it's an necessary feature for the Environment.
For Example the SQL Native Client. The most Companies got an separated SQL Team and got an Problem of responsibility during the Upgrade process.
I support this 100%. On 1906 existing management points remained at an older version but newly installed management points had a newer version of SQL Native Client installed. The new version supported TLS 1.2, the older version did not. When we disabled TLS 1.0 all old management points stopped communicating to the SQL server database. This could be avoided if the SQL Native Client was updated as part of the upgrade, since it is installed as a requirement for the management point.
