Allow custom icons in software center for Task Sequences
Split this item from a bigger umbrella item.
This is to specify an icon per App Task Sequence in the Software Center.
Updating status to started.
The first iteration/slice of this is available in the 1905 Tech Preview.
It will be great if we can change the default icon.
Agreed, End User experience becomes more important nowadays to not have this feature implemented.

This is really needed! In environment where we have strictly packages, or lot of packages from the past, it looks incomplete and amateur when there are no icons or only some.
Bruce Roberts commented
agreed packages need the ability to display a custom icon into software center for the end users

YES! Now that the Application Catalog is being combined with Software Center I have these nice big (but blurry and low res) app icons. But I still have to use packages as well and these have ugly default icons, the ability to change these icons would really make Software Center look great.
Please add this! The End user experience for self-service really needs this :)

The task sequence icons in the admin console should differentiate between Enabled and Disabled task sequences.

This would be great for the end-user experience and i see no reason to why you should not be able to do this

Allow custom icons for Task Sequences and Packages/Programs in Software Center.
Currently the icons are all a default icon, which can be confusing for end users if there are multiple deployed to a workstation.
