Software center shortcut language
It's not really a high priority suggestion, but it needs to be revised. The software center shortcut is in english when Windows 10 system is in FR-CA. ("Software Center" instead of "Centre Logiciel"). The configuration manager properties in the control panel is also in english, but the Software Center main panel language is in french as it should. We don't have this trouble when we are in a FR-FR Windows 10. Actually, our workaround is to create a new shortcut for the users (with softwarecenter:).
Just for anyone who ended up here looking for a solution, here's a workaround:
Changing the value of "PreferredUILanguages", located at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop", adding the desired Language/region tag first in the list will make Software Center to open in that language instead of English. However, this may not survive a logoff/reboot and maybe is not a good idea to keep it during the session.
So the workaround consists on changing the reg value, opening Software Center and then change back the reg value. You can create a shortcut pointing to a script that actuallly does all this, seamingly for the user (maybe this is the workaround the user HLIT mentioned).
Same here for the Valencian language (from the "Valencia" Spanish region).
We need Software Center to default to Spanish instead of English when LCID 2051 (ca-ES-valencia) is detected in a user session.
