requirement not met user experience
We are working with requirement which makes sense in a lot of scenarios. But the user experience when a requirement is not met is very bad - there is only a hardcoded text "the software is not applicable to your device" displayed in the software center for the user.
So the users are for sure opening tickets at the service desk because they have no further information and we are not able to give them more information.
It would make sense to have a textbox within the requirement creation wizard to set up a custom text which is shown to the user in the softwarecenter when the requiement is not met. So user is informed which requirement is not met.
hmm very strange but i have a guess...
We are using User-based deployments (meaning pointing to user-collections) because you cannot have more then 250 machinebased deployments on a client.... Otherwise WMI could crash.
but i guess you have machinebased, so the requirement in this case might be evaluated upfront...

how did you manage that the applications with missing requirements show up in Software Center at all? We just don't see them (not even as "the software is not applicable to your device")...
