How can we improve Configuration Manager?

Log which user initiated software updates

In a multi-administrator environment, it's often useful to check which user initiated the installation of the software updates.

Now all we have is: 'InstallUpdates Initiated by user'.
We don't really know which user initiated those updates.

Agreed we have had some people trigger the install and cause an outage but have no way of knowing who it was. Which has lead to us hiding the update messages from users and then only patching when it is scheduled and there are times they may be doing maintenance and could easily do the patching then and it would be more convenient to do so for them but we needed to remove that option at this time.
