How can we improve Configuration Manager?

Enable right click WOL a device from inside the console

Allow the built in use of WOL, and right click to wake up a machine or a collection at anytime. Also fix ConfigMgr's native WOL technology to work on common network infrastructure (no Mac-Flapping.)

All other options are not applicable to our environment because of 802.1x. We really need AMT Wake Up function

I support the request guys, stuck with the upgrade due to this. Hope its goes no where even if we raise a advisory request to guide further on any other option.

We are trying to upgrade to 1511 to support mobile devices with intune better - but we don't want to lose our intel/amt/vpro wake up features... so we are stalling at the moment and waiting for developments and answers from Microsoft - are there any?

Same Situation as Tim. We are also stuck at ConfigMgr2012 until we will see this feature in CB.

I would like to be able to, from the admin console, issue a "wake-on-lan" command to a collection or to a machine. Currently, it appears, that the only way to get wake-on-lan to work is to submit a deployment.

    Same here! +6000 devices!

We are in the same situation as Alan, we have 6000+ computers that we use to Wake up with AMT. Only difference is that we are still on ConfigMgr 2012 R2 Sp1. This is a major deployment blocker for us and we won’t be able to upgrade to 1511 until this is solved in one way or another.

This is a major PITA for us. We've moved onto 1511 so we can continue our Windows 10 development but we used to wake 5,000+ machines for patching each month. Users are now back to watching updates install during the working day. We're currently looking at another means of bringing them up. We cannot use WoL on our infrastructure as our network team will not allow it.

It should also be noted that, although not related to wake on lan, MS recommendation of using SCS Addon for SCCM doesnt actually work with SCCM 1511 resulting in an error with AdminUI.WqlQueryEngine

In ConfigMgr Current Branch the complete OOB Management Function including AMT Wakeup Function was removed.

I would love to still have the AMT Wakeup Function because it was a better and more reliable alternative instead of using Wake On Lan.

It would be great if this function could be integrated again in future builds of ConfigMgr.
