WMI Query Builder for Task Sequence Options
In the Task Sequence/Options window, I can add a condition for a particular step by adding an "if" criterion that matches a WMI query, similar to building a device collection. This way, particular steps in a task sequence would only execute if a device happened to be in the selected AD OU or another, for example.
But in the WMI Query builter for device collections includes a click-here type of builder, whereas the query window in the task sequence just has a blank text box.
While I could either write the query by hand (and hope it's correct) to see if a device is in a desired OU in AD, for example, or copy the query that built out a device collection, the click-here method that's part of establishing a membership rule in device collections would be handier (and less prone to manual error).
