Please do not install Silverlight by default in vNext
Please do not install Silverlight with ConfigMgr-Client by default in vNext. The new Software Center with the integrated application catalog don't need Silverlight.
This is now available in the 1802 release, https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sccm/core/plan-design/changes/whats-new-in-version-1802. Thanks everyone for the feedback.
What if you are using the 'old' software center?
Provide a updated (or supported way to update) client components (silverlight, xml6, visual c runtimes, .net framework) for the SCCM client. Right now as soon as SCCM Client is installed we have to manually uninstall the very vulnerable version of silverlight to be compliant with our vulnerabilty scanners.
Or give the capability to turn off SCCM trying to manage Silverlight during the install/repair/upgrade.

This has caused me many issues since certain applications require Silverlight to have a certain version. All PCs that use the certain version must be immediately touched when the client is upgraded.
