  1. DCR: OSD Task Sequence - Create Baseline of existing TS and allow Remediation

From my field experience I have seen many times OS Deployments which did not really succeed, because of Continue on error conditions. In most cases the reason was to not end up with systems staying in Provisioning Mode. I know some guys just "re-deploy" the TS with checks if everything was done properly. This brought up the idea - why not using Compliance Settings for this purpose? At least to check if the system meets the Desired Baseline. Everything needed should be stored in the Task Sequence anyway and it would allow a "Report" summary client side after Deployment.

  2. Automatic refresh/update after you do "Update distribution point"

When updating a package over "Update distribution point" we always have to click outside of the section/folder in order to get an updated status of the package we are updating. It would be nice to have it automatically refreshed only for that particular software.

  3. Display Security Scopes and Collections columns by default under Administrative Users

Many organizations struggle a lot with the concepts in Role Based Administration. One of the things I see that helps them immensely to see how they've misapplied security is to simply turn on the Scopes and Collections column views under Administrative Users. While the Roles are shown by default, without the Scopes and Collections, there isn't enough context for them to understand what is actually set up.

Please display the Security Scopes and Collections columns by default under the Administrative Users view in the ConfigMgr console. This will help people understand RBA at a glance much more easily.

    Thanks for…

  4. Fix German translation for ‘compliance’

When using the German version of the SCCM Console, Reports, Software Center or Control Panel Applet the word ‘compliance’ is translated with ‘Kompatibel’ which is the German word for ‘compatible’

This doesn´t really make sense and should be translated with a better German Word like ‘Konformität’

  5. Refresh Search New Collection

when creating a new collection from a search result (ie. user/device). once the collection is created, the search should not be refreshed. as today, the search is cleared. if you have a custom search, you need to apply all filters or load the search again, and it can take time on large environments

  8. Re-think task sequence policy download in OS

Currently deployed task sequences create a lot of policy download and slow down the initialisation of a workstation. If they worked like in bootable media, or another way - I don't know if say downloading the TS policies as a zip would help?

  9. Selected Client Setting is Lost when Changing Priority

If you sort and then re-prioritize a given client setting it does not maintain the selection. So if you want prioritize something multiple times you need to re-select it every time.

  10. Merge two resources with the same MAC Address

If I import a new computer using its MAC Address but later I install manually the client in the actual computer, two resources with the same name end up in the SCCM Database.
An option to make the default action merging both resources or just associating the client DDR to the manual import.

  11. Add 'Get-CMObject' PowerShell command

I would like to be able to confirm the object moved, can we get a 'Get-CMObject' command, or something that reports the Folder location?

  12. Ability to collect client logs via Tenant Attach

It would be great if we could, like we can do in the console, to collect client logs in Mem/Tenant Attach so that helpdesk technicians can do this without using the console
