Would like to have the ability for the end user to not just install an available deployment, but also launch it there. The way I envision this happening is once the user has installed an available deployment, the "Install" button would change to a "Launch" button, and the Uninstall button would be perhaps a separate button, etc., or perhaps even the icon of the application could be used to launch it and the Install/Uninstall behavior could remain the same.

The benefit of this would be (1) if you removed the start menu or other entry points to the application and forced the user to launch it this way, you could truly know every time they launched the application unless they pinned it or browsed to the executable manually and (2) this would provide an elegant way to implement changes for the current user (e.g. HKCU registry entries required for the application to function, or %USERPROFILE% changes required for the application to function).

Allow the ability to change the default radio button on the Software Center Dialog Box that is notifying users about "Critical Software Maintenance must be..."
I'd like to change this per deployment. Example, I'd like Software Updates to keep the default it has now "Right now"
but change some Applications or a TS to "Outside my Business Hours". I'm going to have users launch that popup when they see the toast notification, and click "OK" to get rid of the window, then the Upgrade TS will start and make for an unhappy user experience.

I'd like to keep the toast notification, and keep this available, as we are encouraging users to "Opt-In" to the upgrade when it's convenient for them. Would be nice if right in that dialog box, they could say "Schedule a time to run", and it would open a calendar with date & time, with everything being available, but grey out dates after the deadline.

I often get questions from users saying "is this legit?" referring to the toast/balloon notifications presented on their desktop from Software Center. The notification states "Software changes are required. Your IT department requires changes to the software on your computer. click here for options." This could easily be confused with spoof antivirus popups claiming your computer needs to be fixed!

I would like the ability to customize these notifications in the Administration > Client Settings node > Computer Agent settings. The "Organization name displayed in Software Center" shows on the Title page AFTER you open SC, but it would be great if this would also appear on the toast/balloon notification when new software is required to be installed.

This will help reduce/remove the confusion that this notification could be malicious spyware/adware abusing your trust of system notifications.

Obviously, we can create applications with multiple deployment types in SCCM, each with its own set of requirements. Now say I create a simple MSI-based application with one deployment type, which has a requirement that Primary device must be true. If I make this available to a user collection, then it shows up for each of those users on their primary devices as available in Software Center. All great so far.

However, if one of those users logs in to a non-primary device, the application still shows up as available, and only upon attempting to install it, the user is presented with a failure (says "This software is not applicable to your device". Doesn't say why, either).

IMHO, an available application should not show up in Software Center if none of its deployment types are applicable to the device/user - it's misleading, and absent very specific error messages, can confuse users.

When the user received the 'Software changes must be applied to your computer' there are two radio options:
'Apply all required changes now (recommended)'
'Apply all required changes outside my business hours'

There is also an checkbox that say 'Restart my computer automatically if needed'. However, this checkbox is disabled when the first radio option is selected. I would ask that it remains enabled for both options. We are trying to train users to take an active role in installing updates according to their own schedule. The reboot process has become a large portion of the update process. So if they take the 'install now' option when they go to lunch or a meeting they come back to a machine that needs 5-10 minutes worth of reboot to finish. It would be preferable to give them the option to reboot as well so they come back to a fully patched machine ready for use.

This issues shows for me from time to time but it seems to show mostly with available deployments and on the old Software Center. If there is only one title in the 'Installed Software' tab you generally can't select the uninstall option as it is grayed out. This seems to commonly happen when i switch to that tab but if there is multiple applications I am able to click on a different one and return to the newly installed one and 'uninstall' becomes available and when there is only one on that tab you can't 'refresh' the code to validate 'uninstall'

Also when you have an application that is already installed and the deployment does not 'install' but the detection method determines it to be already valid the uninstall option generally is not available in this situation.

I see no reason for the uninstall to even NOT be an option so my suggestion is to remove whatever code is validating the availability of the uninstall button
