Allow custom icons in software center for Task Sequences
Split this item from a bigger umbrella item.
This is to specify an icon per App Task Sequence in the Software Center.1,946 votesstarted ·AdminBob Mac Neill (Software Engineer, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) responded

Add "Uninstall Application" option to Tasksequence
It is possible to "Install Application" in a Tasksequence. It would be nice to be able to "Uninstall Application" too.

Internet Based Remote Control
Internet based remote control with options such as file transfer and reboot. This could be accomplished using a reverse connection from a client to a new site role hosted in the DMZ.

Option to uninstall an application when a user or device falls out of scope of the collection
This is a buggy, Would we like the option to have ' Uninstall Application when Resource falls out of scope of this collection' when an application is deployed to a collection, this would save us having to create 2 collections ( install and uninstall) and to deployments. This would save SO much time and reduce the complicity of application management.

SCCM Report - Easy way to create Report & Dashboard
Not really easy to create some SCCM report or Dashboard if your're not a SQL DBA .. even with Report Builder.
Could be awesome to have a new tool where Reports or Dashbaord could be created easily whithout searching which SQL views I need ..ect ... Like some others concurrent application give.945 votesstarted ·Admindjam (Product Director, or Executive, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) responded
Tempted to mark this completed, now that we’ve released full blown powerBI integration:

Make ConfigMgr work with Autopilot and Enrollment Status Page (ESP)
When deploying a device using Autopilot, the Enrollment Status Page (ESP) is used to prevent access to the desktop until the device provisioning tasks are complete. But ConfigMgr doesn't integrate with the ESP, so there's no way to wait for packages, apps, or task sequences - the user doesn't know when the process is done. Add that integration.

Allow for dynamically selecting Apply Driver Packages
Allow for dynamically selecting Apply Driver Packages, pretty much like it works for normal packages (applications). This would reduce the number of hardcoded Apply Driver Package in the task sequence.

Bootimage download with HTTP instead of TFTP
Downloading the boot image with TFTP is slow and download may fail within slow or unreliable networks.
Downloading with HTTP or iSCSI will increase the speed dramatically and the stability is improved also.
With iPXE this technology is implemented and works fine.
My idea is to implement the HTTP download with SCCM.
This would be a great enhancement to performance and stability in the OS deployment.853 votesHi. I’m setting the status back to Noted – this was mixed up with the item “Add support for TFTP Window Size” – that has been Started and is available in the 1603 tech preview build.

A Customizable Reboot/Postpone Prompt for Application and Software Updates Deployments
Basically would like something similar to the Windows Updates Reboot/Postpone nag prompt except with the ability to customize the notification text as applicable to the deployment.
For example:, as a sub-setting of the deployment type for the application you have the option to enable the reboot/postpone prompt and customize the notification text of the dialog box.
If the user that receives the prompt, postpones they will be re-prompted at the end of the postponement period until they either reboot or shutdown the system. (basically exactly the same behavior as the Windows Updates reboot/postpone prompt).

Ability to automatically install Windows 10 ADK releases (or rollback or apply hotfix) via Updates and Servicing.
The windows 10 adk has changed a few times since the original release of Windows 10, there have been two major releases and one hotfix to fix issues with the second release, as a consequence of that many people got jittery about upgrading to ADK 10 1511.
How are we going to deal with this in a good way, a really good way. Prior to this we didn't have to upgrade our boot images every 6 months or so.
Here's the suggestion:-
1. When we update from 1602 to 1607 (or whatever) to support the next generation of Windows, it

Extend the downloadable time of the peer cache source.
There is a 24 hour time limit for a PeerCache client to download from a Peercache source.
When distributing large files, the token may expire and the download may not complete.
we expect to extend the 24-hour constraint. (For example, 1week.)835 votes -
ConfigMgr Web Console
Introduce ConfigMgr Web Console and remove the need to update the console on every device with each SCCM CB Upgrade as local admin rights are needed to update the console.
The ConfigMgr Web Console might be similar to Azure Portal with Microsoft Intune.
With SCCM CB updates getting released more frequently than before, this will provide benefits and ease of management. The Admins can connect to the ConfigMgr console from any computer in the organisation without the need to install it.
787 votesstarted ·Admindjam (Product Director, or Executive, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) responded
The first slice of this is now available with #configmgr 2002 production release (publicly available). You can now attach your on-prem #configmgr to Intune, and see #configmgr managed clients (including win7 and server OSs) in intune/MEMAC UI. We will add more and more capabilities over time.

Multi Tenant support for Microsoft cloud services integrated with ConfigMgr
We hear this request a lot, so I'm adding it here.
ConfigMgr integrates with many Microsoft Cloud Services:
* WUFB
* WSFB
* Windows Upgrade Analytics
* OMS
* etc
For each of the above services, sometimes a company may have multiple tenants. Please allow ConfigMgr to manage multiple tenants for each of these services.781 votes -
Change color scheme in the console (including dark mode)
When working with multiple customers and/or in migration scenarios (and also in lab- technical preview environments) it would be great to be able change the color scheme in the ConfigMgr console to clarify which environment the console belongs to.

Maintenance window recurrence pattern offset from a base day
Allow the recurrence pattern for maintenance windows to be scheduled with an offset from a base day.
Meaning, if we want a maintenance window on the Wednesday following the Second Tuesday of every month, we could configure a maintenance window for the Second Tuesday with a +1 offset.
(This would be similar to the offset option added to ADRs in 1802.)

Allow us to pre-provision appx application types in the Task Sequence
ConfigMgr supports .appx deployment, but sometimes we want these on every machine, so our preferred way would be to do this in the Task Sequence.
Currently, the Add Application step in the Task Sequence doesn't let us browse for .appx packages.
Please consider adding support these during OSD.
