SCCM Gateway Servers for Deployment to DMZ's
We should be able to deploy SCCM Gateway servers for deployment to DMZ, Internet and Remote locations where opening ports to the management servers / domains are not feasible. We are unable to forward ports from the internet to our LAN and must use a DMZ. There is no way to implement SCCM for IBCM because of this.

This is working now e2e in 1706. There is one more thing we’d like to fix, which is to have software center (optional software) to work through CMG too. We’ll track that remaining work with this UV:

Add a button in Software Center to allow the users to refresh the Machine/User Policy
Add a button in Software Center so the user can update the MAchine and User Policy. Would be a great feature for the end-user when waiting for an application to be available!

Icons and cosmetics for applications
During the Create Application Wizard on Application Catalog step there is possibility to add some beautiful icon. BUT! The icon (.ico) size is limited to 250x250. Could you make it possible to add an icon file with picture size at least 256x256 (which is quite common size for pictures in .ico files)? Another thing as well, the icons in SCCM Applications/Packages list (Software Library-Overview-Application Management-Applications). They look all the same! Could you make them more attractive, say, the way they look in Application Catalog? Otherwise, whats the point in Icon column (which appears, by the way, as a default…

SCCM On Premise MDM Should Support Windows 10 Devices
It would be great if SCCM On Premise MDM would support Windows 10 Devices for scenarios such as settings, required application deployment, wipe and retire.

Access log files from Console
Make the log files directly accessible via the console rather than digging around in the file system trying to remember which file holds which logs and ideally make them accessible from a context menu in the relevant areas.

Available starting in 2002.

Show computer state, e.g. different icon for computer that is on, off, user logged on
For each computer under "Devices", display different icons depending on whether a user is logged on or not, or whether the computer is powered on or not (see attached as an example of what this function looks like in Altiris Deployment Console). Such feature instantly allows admins to see which computers are available/online/offline, without having to run a report or ping the computer
474 votesShipped in 1602. We have icons showing devices that are “online” along with their last online or offline status.

Task Sequences should be supported outside of operating system deployment scenarios
Task sequences are only officially supported in operating system deployment scenarios. Task sequences are incredibly useful with their explicit logic and tight control. There's many cases where it can be useful to deploy task sequences outside of operating system deployment scenarios for complex software deployment scenarios.
Task sequences should be made a first class citizen outside of operating system deployment scenarios.

Make all dialogs shown to the end-user include company logo
A truly great feature would be to be able to customize all dialogs show to the end-user, both for OSD, but also reboot prompts basically all dialogs shown to the end-user.
Adding a company logo so that the end-user actually knows it is from our company and trustworthy.601 votescompleted ·AdminMark Silvey - ConfigMgr Product Team (Engineering Manager, ConfigMgr, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) responded
ConfigMgr 1610 is available today and branded dialogs with company log is included. Thank you everyone for your feedback on this!

Improve App-V deployments to non-persistent VDI's.
Improve App-V deployments to non-persistent VDI's. Currently if you App-V applications to users in non-persistent VDI environments, there is a long delay after the user logs on before the applications install.
If this could be changed so that applications are published significantly faster after a user logs in that would enable the use of SCCM to deploy applications to non-persistent environments. Currently this process is far too slow as users have to wait too long to get their applications.
This was meant to be addressed in SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 however I logged a call with Microsoft and they said…

Continue to invest in Out-of-band support (Intel Vpro/AMT)
SCCM only supports up to version 6, latest hardware uses version 10.
SCCM provisioning uses SOAP which was deprecated by Intel.
This is now a big hassle for people who want to use Intel Vpro in combination with SCCM. We need to make use of an Intel Add-on (Intel SCS) to get things working but it’s far from ideal.
Please bring back the provisioning support compatible with the latest versions of Vpro and bring support for new features such as KVM.151 votescompleted ·Admindjam (Product Director, or Executive, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) responded
In order to support customers as the speed Intel is update Vpro/AMT – we worked with Intel for them to own the integration, and support latest versions (as ConfigMgr itself only supported up to version 6.) Intel has released an updated version that should solve the customer needs:
http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/software/setup-configuration-software.html
We will continue to partner with Intel to provide APIs they need for the integration. -
Teach the Admin Console how to sort numbers
When sorting by Compliance % for some reason the sort is done as a string sort so 80% is a bigger number than 100%.

Marking complete. If you continue to see sorting natural vs alphabetical sort issues please let us know.

Site Server High Availability or Clustering
Configuration Manager is becoming more mission critical every day. The ability to Cluster the Site Server role (Inboxes & SMS Provider) is more and more important as that is the single point of failure for a Primary Site.
If the Site Server role goes down the Primary Site is down no matter how many Management Points or SMS Provider etc. exist.
If we could Cluster the Site Server or at least have 2 systems share that role for High Availability then this would no longer be an issue.
Even though we can designate multiple SMS Providers, if the site system…

We have now added hierarchy support with #sccm 1810. There is still some planned work outstanding (represented by UV items in the comments); but the core work for this is now complete in #sccm 1810.

Rebuild a content library on a Distribution Point
A function to instruct a distribution point to clean-up/rebuild its content library would be great. This would be particularly useful to fix the "package list in content library doesn't match the one in WMI" errors.
We have 260+ DPs, all members of the same Distribution Group, and 35% of them have mis-matched content library sizes. So obviously content clean-up does not succeed. A way to force them to re-evaluate (without redistributing existing content) would be great.

Non-cloud support continue
Please don't forget about those of us who work in an environment where we can't connect to the Internet. I've been very concerned by Microsoft's cloud-first effort turning into cloud-ONLY effort.

add a powershell possibility to add requirements to a deploymenttype of an application
At the moment it is not easy to add requirements to an application deploymenttype with PowerShell. I think many of us would benefit if this would be simplified.
157 votescompleted ·AdminAdam Meltzer (ConfigMgr Product Team) (Software Engineer, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) responded
We should have full requirements support as of 1810.
If there are any gaps or issues with this, please send us a frown with more details and we will look into it for a future release.

Preferred Software Update Points
Now that we have the option to define both Distribution Points and Management Points as preferred, it'd be terrific if we could have the same option for Software Update Points. It would make a strong case when designing a flat hierarchy.

RBA on the Folder level
Currently Administrators have the ability to set Role Based Access to Collections but we do not have the ability to block access to specific folders. Currently in my environment we have many different departmental administrators who need to manage only their machines and their collections. each time we add collections we then need to grant them access. if the Role Based Administration gave the ability to grant access on the folder level it would reduce the complexity for area's that have a setup similar to mine.
I have attached a screenshot of how my setup looks.

Configure multiple deployments in an Automatic Deployment Rule
When creating Automatic Deployment rules, it would be useful to be able to configure multiple deployments.
You may for example want test, pilot and live deployments to different collections and possibly with different settings. It doesn't make sense to have to create different rules with the same updates criteria just for additional deployments.
The CM administrator may choose to have the additional deployments disabled to allow for testing, but enabling a deployment leaves less room for error, and is less administrative overhead than creating these additional deployments manually each time for pilot/live.
It would also be useful to have the…
