Make the log files directly accessible via the console rather than digging around in the file system trying to remember which file holds which logs and ideally make them accessible from a context menu in the relevant areas.82 votesstarted · AdminAdam Meltzer (ConfigMgr Product Team) (Software Engineer, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) responded
We have shipped additional log collection functionality in 1912 TP. This will allow you to collect log files on demand from a client and view them through Resource Explorer.
Please try it out and let us know what you think!
Would be nice to be able to advertise Task Sequences to specific users or groups. We have some operating system deployments that we would like only certain users to run, support staff for instance.414 votesstarted · AdminBob Mac Neill (Software Engineer, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) responded
Updating status to started – see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sccm/core/understand/find-help#send-a-suggestion for an explanation of each value.
Our 1905 Technical Preview is now released.
This release has the first round of changes in the App model to allow a Task sequence as a deployment type allowing task sequences to be deployed to users/user groups.
At the moment it is not easy to add requirements to an application deploymenttype with PowerShell. I think many of us would benefit if this would be simplified.157 votesstarted · AdminAdam Meltzer (ConfigMgr Product Team) (Software Engineer, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) responded
Changing status back to “Started” as there’s more work to do here. We plan to simplify adding requirements to DTs as well as complete the missing scenarios for detection methods in a future release. Stay tuned for more updates.
Not really easy to create some SCCM report or Dashboard if your're not a SQL DBA .. even with Report Builder.
Could be awesome to have a new tool where Reports or Dashbaord could be created easily whithout searching which SQL views I need ..ect ... Like some others concurrent application give.926 votesstarted · Admindjam (Product Director, or Executive, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) responded
Tempted to mark this completed, now that we’ve released full blown powerBI integration:
Building reports & dashboards doesn’t get much easier than that.
Include the Right Click tools adon as part of the Console install, not as a seperate download addon1,926 votesstarted · Admindjam (Product Director, or Executive, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) responded
Phase 1 of these feature is in 1602 production
Internet based remote control with options such as file transfer and reboot. This could be accomplished using a reverse connection from a client to a new site role hosted in the DMZ.1,003 votesstarted · Admindjam (Product Director, or Executive, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) responded
Try this out over CMG in #SCCM TP 1906
This is a buggy, Would we like the option to have ' Uninstall Application when Resource falls out of scope of this collection' when an application is deployed to a collection, this would save us having to create 2 collections ( install and uninstall) and to deployments. This would save SO much time and reduce the complicity of application management.1,013 votes
Check out the new uninstall behavior in 1804 tp.
