  1. Add "Client Notification" options for devices (and not just device collections)

Today we can run client notification actions on collections or devices inside a collection.
usually when we search for a specific device we do it from "Devices".
It would only make sense to have these options from "Devices" as well and not just by go and browse in "All Systems" or so

  2. Manage Delivery Optimization

With either Client Settings of something under Compliance Settings, give us the native ability to manage Delivery Optimization settings through the ConfigMgr Client. Modern apps are updated per user and directly from Microsoft. In shared device environments (think schools with lots of laptop carts), this can result in over a 1 GB of downloaded updates per device when 4-5 users share the machine each day, and ConfigMgr Distribution Points can't help us. We need to be able to easily ensure that all this traffic doesnt have to go to the internet.

  3. Make hardware inventory display name for OFFICE365PROPLUSCONFIGURATIONS pretty

In CM1606, a new hardware inventory class was added for Office 365 Pro Plus Configurations which is great.

Unfortunately, whoever added it made the display name for the class OFFICE365PROPLUSCONFIGURATIONS which is a little inconsistent with all the friendly names for everything else.

    PLEASECHANGEITTONORMALCASEANDUSESPACES. Remember, pretty counts! :-)

Thanks for your help making ConfigMgr powerful AND beautiful.

  4. Console device view should allow search/filter by MAC address

We find ourselves trying to go from MAC address to device in the console fairly regularly, especially when troubleshooting things like PXE from the logs (which only shows MAC address) and needing to kill off failed OSD records (which may be named "Unknown" or have a random computer name in ConfigMgr, but you're now in WinPE ready to kick off the TS again, but only have the MAC from ipconfig /all to ID the old record).

The MAC addresses are already being pulled by Heartbeat inventory, but you can't search/filter of part/all of the MAC address.

    Thank you for making…

  5. add last logged user as column in console

I'd like to add last logged user as a column in the admin console. Our help desk people use this field when calling the user.

This is fixed in the just shipped #SCCM 1802 release. For both Primary User, and Logged on user. We still will improve a couple things:
    1) it is only in devices views; and we will add it in more views (collections, etc.)
    2) We actually think we can do even better than this, and use the SCCM fast channel to show currently logged in now users. If you like this idea, vote here:
    https://configurationmanager.uservoice.com/forums/300492-ideas/suggestions/13061739-see-if-a-user-is-logged-in-and-if-computer-is-acti

  6. See if a user is logged in and if computer is active or idle

Devices should show the current logged in user. Next to that should be an indication of if that session is active or not.

This would allow us to see where a user is logged in without having to wait on the userprimarydevice field to populate. Being able to see if the session is active or not will help us know if we can remote in without interrupting a user.

  7. Show computer state, e.g. different icon for computer that is on, off, user logged on

For each computer under "Devices", display different icons depending on whether a user is logged on or not, or whether the computer is powered on or not (see attached as an example of what this function looks like in Altiris Deployment Console). Such feature instantly allows admins to see which computers are available/online/offline, without having to run a report or ping the computer
