  1. Improved automation and extensibility by exposing Configuration Manager functionality through a REST web API

Exposing Configuration Manager functionality through RESTful web API's would open up a whole new world for interacting with ConfigMgr.
E.g. a web Admin console and easier integration with Service Management Automation (SMA).
It should also be easier for 3rd party vendors to create new web based solutions for say an self-service portal or a Windows App for tracking an OS or application deployment on a mobile device or phone.
Personally I would really like any easier way to interact with ConfigMgr. when running in Windows PE (OS Deployment) or a web portal for non-admins to provision new or existing machine…

  2. add a powershell possibility to add requirements to a deploymenttype of an application

At the moment it is not easy to add requirements to an application deploymenttype with PowerShell. I think many of us would benefit if this would be simplified.

  3. Access log files from Console

Make the log files directly accessible via the console rather than digging around in the file system trying to remember which file holds which logs and ideally make them accessible from a context menu in the relevant areas.

We have shipped additional log collection functionality in 1912 TP. This will allow you to collect log files on demand from a client and view them through Resource Explorer.

Please try it out and let us know what you think!

  4. Folder Redirection Improvements to Permit OneDrive

Currently the folder redirection feature in SCCM doesn't take an environmental variable as a good path; it requires \SERVER\SHARE.

With OneDrive being common place in Office 365, please allow us to enter a command such as:

    %userprofile%<SyncFolder>

where Sync folder is the name of your organization's onedrive folder.

as documented by the Office team.

So that we can use SCCM to manage this.

    Thanks! :)

  5. Small SCCM Hardware VM Recommendations

I'd like primary site sizing recommendations for small to medium size environments. We have <500 client devices, your recommended specs are way too high.

  6. Filter for Datetime "between" for Support Center Logfile Viewer

I would be great to have a between Filter for Datetime in the Support Center Logfile Viewer.
    Like this:
    Include: 2017-03-08 11:00:12.323 <->2017-03-09 09:00:12.323

  7. CM Messaging SDK Documentation shouldn't be a .chm help file AND...

The docs that exist for the CM Messaging (note, the messaging SDK is not a part of the larger CM SDK docs here https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh442686(v=cmsdk.16).aspx) is currently a .chm Help file, which is lovably nostalgic.

However it doesn't do justice to the power of the SDK. For instance, Discovery and hardware inventory are barely covered in the SDK docs. I'm troubleshooting an issue now with the Messaging SDK in which a fake CM Client appears with Windows 6.2 NT Workstation, even though it is a fully patched Win10 machine. Weird stuff.

Anyway, it would be great if the docs were…
