  1. Install MECM Support Center alongside client by default

    I have no metrics to back this up, yet I feel Support Center is under utilized as it has to be installed separately and manually from the MECM client.

    Could you give us one or more of the following options?
    1) Add an checkbox in the client install settings area to have Support Center install after the MECM client is installed.
    2) Have Support Center install by default like the MECM client
    3) Make installing Support Center an option in the Add dropdown under a Tools folder, in the TS editor.

    Great ideas.

    We don’t package Support Center with the client at this time because it would add 15MB or so to the MSI package, and we’re trying to avoid bloating it as much as possible.

    That being said, there’s certainly no reason we can’t have other solutions in place to make it easier to get Support Center onto client machines or to otherwise opt-in to having it distribute with clients.

    We will look into ways to improve this in the future.

  2. Add option to CMPivot to return Folder and Registry paths/keys to results.

    I was writing a CMPivot query today to read the ConfigMgr execution history from the client registry. I couldn't figure out how to return the registry key name. In my use case, the registry key name IS the value that I need to return so I can match the package id with the history.

  3. Primary site server content library cleanup tool

    Create a tool to scan the Content library on DP co-located on the Primary Site server to remove references to a Package ID that no longer exists.

  4. Suspending Bit Locker

    When using Right Click Tools to restart a collection, it would be nice to have an option to suspend Bit Locker during the restart.

  5. Rename CMPivot

    CMPivot should be renamed/re-branded to something more aligned with customer needs...something like "CM Instant Query" I find a lot of customers skim right over the CMPivot selection because it looks like it could break something or its not useful and alot of them aren't aware of it potential. Its probably one, if not the best, arsenal for a desktop support team to use.

    So if the DP Job Queue is too high , we can easily able to expedite the package distribution by searching with package Id or if we want to expedite distribution for a particular DP then we can put the DP name in theā€¦

  7. Make the Operations Manager Management Pack for Config Manager Upgradeable

    Operations Manager Managemen Packs are usually not upgradeable, because the Devs are doing breaking changes in almost every Version of the Management Pack.

    The Update Procedure will be: Removing all MPs & all Overrides, then reimporting all MPs and Overrides again.

    Please make the MP upgradeable!

  8. Combine Azure DevOps and SCCM through the new SCCM API Provider

    I would love to see resource providers in the new Rest API be able to be tied into Azure DevOps and drive Operational deployments in a similar fashion that of Azure DevOps deploys ARM Templates.
    This drives consistency in SCCM, being able to deliver automation with very little infrastructure and development time. This will also become a similar process in which customers are managing azure, so processes and procedures can be replicated for SCCM management.

  9. CMPIvot support in Central Server, in a Cross Forest environment

    Had a Consultation ticket opened with MS Premier [Ticket #:17659929] asking assistance to enable CMPivot in Central Site Server.

    Had the response that this feature is not supported/tested in a Cross Forest environment.

    Can you please consider this as a feature improvment?

  10. Wake On LAN for re-occuring deployments

    Here I think the title pretty much speaks for itself.
    I set my OS upgrades within a maintenance windows at night (9pm - 5am) but I am always faced with the problem of having some clients turned off and not being able to update.

    It would be ideal if the Wake On LAN tool already in place could be used to more extent than just waking up computers when the deadline is reached in a deployment.

  11. CMCH should be included

    I really canā€™t understand why CMCH isnā€™t bundled with SCCM... does microsoft give us some other proper solutions to remediate client health? https://secureinfra.blog/2019/01/17/system-center-configuration-manager-client-health-toolset-to-identify-and-remediate-client-issues/

  12. sccm devices

    SCCM, instead of, after clicking devices the interacting user has to "wait for it... wait for it...." like they do with Internet Explorer to finish everything in the foreground process (at least that is how it seems). Assuming this could be spawned in the background, so the "clicker of Devices" doesn't have to wait and can type while the data is collected in the background. This would at least help make the user feel like they weren't wasting time just sitting there waiting...

    THIS is the BIGGEST issue with recent Microsoft products, from Vista-on. Or from a very old versionā€¦

  14. Support Center Log Viewer - Select text within log entry

    Hi,
    in Log Viewer, there's no way to select a specific section of text. only options are to copy the entire line. in CMTrace32, it showed the entire entry in the bottom pane and I could select a portion of the entry, such as the IP address found '10.x.x.x'

    Could that be added to a future release?

  15. Support Center Log File Viewer support same log files as CMTrace

    The CMTrace tool is able to parse non-SCCM log files (e.g. 1E's Nomad logs) to properly pick up timestamps, process ID's etc. It would be very helpful if this could be added to the Support Center/Support Center Log File Viewer. It seems

  16. Include an option to install OneTrace as part of the ConfigMgr Client install.

    Current Config Manager client install includes an option to deploy CMTrace along side the client. Please include an option to deploy OneTrace as well\instead.

  17. Add a command line option to Support Center to connect to a remote computer

    The Support Center utility is a great addition but doesn't seem to support specifying a remote computer to connect to from the command line. This would allow it to be called automatically from scripts and other tools.

    This is option is implemented for the remote control viewer by running: CmRcViewer.exe <remote-computer>

    Likewise it would be great to be able to call the Support Center thus:
    ConfigMgrSupportCenter.exe <remote-computer>

  18. Colorize CMLogViewer lines

    Similar to CMTrace, it would be nice if error lines showed up with a red background. It would be so much easier to find them, then.

    There are a lot of web portal available for SCCM management also so expensive, we want web portal for SCCM integrated with full management capability like Console,

  20. Please create ticker functionalty for anouncing something

    We don't want to use 3rd party softs for ticker app, we wanna use SCCM to announce something urgency to our clients. There were cireson ticker app . We want something like that
