Integrate Quick Assist support in Configuration Manager
It would be very useful if SCCM could integrate/manage/expand the Quick Assist native Windows 10 functionality. This could solve the lack of remote control functionality when client are connected over internet (both CMG or IBCM scenario). This would allow us to avoid using third parts software.

Remote Control Over CMG
Within SCCM CB 2010, we can see the feature greyed out for Remote Control to CMG. Remote Control to CMG was available in TP only previously. Word is this feature is making a comeback in a CB release, perhaps 2103. Can we confirm this is the case that Remote Control to CMG connected endpoint will be available. This is a huge feature of rolling out CMG to connect to devices that may have problems with VPN.

Please make the "Connected with" green bar smaller
When you remote control a device there is a massive green bar across the top of the screen. Its massive and should be 50% smaller as if you need to access something hidden behind it.... you can only move the bar left or right a small distance - sometimes (a lot), its not enough to get to the thing behind it.

Remote Control: Improve Multi-Monitor Experience
Business Case (I know how you PMs love these):
The current CB 1902 implementation is going to make this conversation part of our helpdesk script:
“What screen is the app on?”
“Can you move that window to the monitor where X is showing?”
“No, not that one.”
“Nope, still don’t’ see it”
“Ok let me reconnect in full screen, please accept the prompt again.”
“No no no, don’t hang up the phone, that’s not how this works.”
“Ok, you should see a prompt to allow me to connect.”
“Nope it’s there, trust me.”
“Got it, thanks. Ok, let me move…371 votesNoted ·AdminMark Silvey - ConfigMgr Product Team (Engineering Manager, ConfigMgr, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) responded

Using FQDN rather than hostname when remote control connects to client
A no-brainer, use FQDN to Remote control so my helpdesk guys can remote to any machines, regardless of the domain. There are powershell scripts out there but they're very temperamental. I don't understand how this has never been design this way, very poor design choice with hostname. This would save a lot of headaches here and people would appreciate sccm remote control a bit more.

Remote control with/to Windows Server, build 2004+20H2
Remote control is unable to see the CMD window when connected to Windows Server Standard (datacenter not tested), build 2004 and 20H2. Tested working for Server 2019 Core. ConfigMgr 2006

Remote Control - Initiate a Wake-Up if client turned off
When remote controlling a device it would be great if a prompt could come up and ask if you want to wake-up the device either using Wake-On-LAN or Wake-Up in client notification based on site configuration if the client is turned off..

Use IPs from Resource HW Inventory and/or Online Status for remote connection attempts
In some environments the NETBIOS name and/or the DNS record of a Systemis not resolvable (VPN, multiple NICs, ..) but the System Resource IPs and Hardware Inventory IPs are often correct. Maybe the IP from the Client Online status Table "BGB_ResStatus" can also used for RCV.
So please use additionally these IP's addresses in connection attempts for CM Remote Control Viewer and not only the NETNIOS/ FQDN from DNS lookup.6 votes -
Remote tools - Close inactive session after configured duration
There should be a setting which allows to configure auto-disconnect behavior of remote tools when the session is inactive for certain mins (e.g. 15 mins).
We moved from LanDesk to SCCM, and we are really missing feature of "Close inactive session".1 vote -
Remote Control in new Edge for Business (Chromium) Browser.
Using Remote Control in the new Edge for Business (Chromium) Browser. Not sure if there is a registry setting for this, but none of the features on the Supporttools page work (for me) in the new Edge Browser. Nothing happens when you try any of the links (Remote Control, ping, etc.)

CM Remote Control tool should prompt for WoL if a device can't be reached
The Configuration Manager Remote Control tool should prompt to wake the device if it cannot be reached. The wake should ideally go through ConfigMgr to allow for the proxy wake functionality.

[Remote Control] We want you to provide CmRcViewer.exe as a single application
In the customer environment, help desk users have installed the Configuration Manager console and used the remote control function.
In this situation, when the load on SCCM server is high, there is a problem that a session can not be established temporarily.
We would like CmRcViewer.exe to be provided as a single application without depending on the load of SCCM server, as it will interfere with help desk operations.Additional Information:
Although not supported at present, we have confirmed that session establishment can be performed by executing the following files.- Copy the following files from the SCCM primary site:

Remote Control Privacy
Give an option to Black Out the screen and lock the keyboard and mouse when in a Remote Control Session. This would be useful for public use/open area/lab Student computers
Novell Zenworks had this same feature years ago. (likely still does)

Check Remote Control setting regularly
When you enable Remote Control, the SCCM Agent only applies the settings once and never checks/validates the settings.
If the local Remote Control Group gets deleted/changed/corrupted, the SCCM Agent will never fix that and you cannot connect to a client.
Work arounds are a full policy reset or modify the client settings that the SCCM Agent reapplies the remote control settings.

Laps and cmrcviewer
I would like the functionality to just delegate helpdesk to connect with cmrcviewer without local right on the computer,
than we only delegate the right to read the Laps password and then the helpdesk connect with single click as admin.

SCCM IP Address and DNS not updated in real time cause issues at Service Desk
As users roam from wireless to fixed networks the SCCM ip database is not updating frequently enough with the end user's IP/DNS entry.
This in turn causes frustration for service desks where they have to ask the customer to obtain their IP address manually.
Would be great if the remote control tool was able to obtain ip address to as close to real time as possible.

Schedule Wake On Lan
It would be great if we could schedule computers or collections to WOL at specified times. We can schedule shutdowns but not WOL.

Correct the new bug with Remote Control
Correct the bug that occasionally causes the "Cancel" button to disappear on the Contacting Remote Control Agent window. This is annoying. Hitting Escape will escape out without the "Cancel" button being present.

Ability to override power button when Remote Control session active
Remote Control allows the person in control to "Lock Remote Keyboard and Mouse". Also need to have an option to "Lock Remote Keyboard, Mouse, Power" button so that the machine can not be turned off during a Remote Control session. Younger kids in K-12 often do this to kick technology personnel out so they can use the computer, even if it's under repair.
