  1. Deploy OSD from Software Center as Required TS

    When pushing OSD from Software Center it works ok if made Available but always fails if pushed as Required. Would like to see Software Center wait until ALL portions of the Policy are downloaded before allowing it to proceed or show in SC

  2. SCCM Client - Start TS before anything else

    When multiple advertisement are deployed on a computer, let's say a TS for a new OS and an apps, if both have deadline and are past due, the apps get installed first. There should be an option in the TS deployment to prevent that. Samething for Windows Update. Right now I,m trying to take a computer from W7 to W10 and since it was offline for the past 3 months, it has started all windows Update and Software Update before starting the TS. But I'm doing a wipe and load of a new OS, don't need to install all this...

  3. Reword Dialog "Software changes must be applied to your computer after..."

    "Software changes must be applied to your computer after xx/xx/xxxx"

    The wording here is kind of awkward in this dialog box. Saying that the updates "must be applied after" hints that the user might have to apply these updates manually after the deadline. I've had calls from users wondering if we want them to do something after the deadline. I think the dialog's intention would be clearer if it said something like:

    "Software changes will automatically be applied to your computer after XX/XX/XXXX at XX:XX AM/PM"

  5. Display which distribution point is used in software center when downloading/installing software

    Display which distribution point is used in software center when downloading software.
    Show something like downloading from sccmdp01.corp.com when you start an installation. This helps troubleshooting problems with DP's

  6. Remove available software from Softwarecenter

    When I request a software or application on a client machine over the application catalog this will apear in the Softwarecenter under 'available software'.

    Sometimes it happens that some users are requesting a software / application form application catalog by accident.

    It would be great if there would be an option to manage this as an administration, like remove this application from softwarecenter (available software) without installing it before.

    Something like remove an explicit software/application under 'available software' from an explicit device.

  7. delete tag "NEW" in software center after if application is already installed

    When new applications are available, they are tagged NEW in the software center during 7 days.
    But if a user install the application, the tag NEW don't disappear

    Can you delete tag NEW after installation?

  8. Add custom alerts to Software Center installs

    We have some software that is rather larger, like the Adobe Suite, and it would be nice to display a message to the user depending on the program they try and install. Some users might try and install the whole suite when they are in a location with poor wireless coverage. If we could create a notification that said "Adobe Creative Suite is a large installer. Please dock your computer before performing this install."

    That would be awesome. Another example is some programs (Adobe Acrobat DC) sometimes report as installed correctly, but really failed because PowerPoint is running. The failure…

  9. Show PercentComplete in Software Center when installing updates

    When installing updates (especially CU´s for Win10/Server2016) it can take a long time until they finished installing.
    To show the user that the installation is not frozen or something the “PercentComplete” that you can see in the UpdateDeployment.log should be visible in the Software Center

  10. Software Center: tile view

    If you open the Applications tab in tile view you can't see the status, if an application is already installed. Pls. add an 'Installed' band (in green?) like the 'New'

  11. Ability to customize Application catalog

    It would be very nice and useful for many customers to have the ability to customize the application catalog site in terms of custom backgrounds/icons or page layout.

  12. Software Center not scaling properly

    Hi

    We have deployed SCCM 1606 to 50 Windows 10" Windows tablet and when in portrait mode maximizing the Software center doesn't show the right hand side of the screen. Please look into the scaling of software center

  13. Add "Approval" column to the new Software Center

    While I do like the new Software Center, I'd like to see "Approval Yes/No" directly in the application list again, like with the old one.
    With the new one, users can only determine if an approval might be required by actually selecting an entry, that's a setback to before.

  14. Software Center: Include "Description" under Operating System menu

    Include "description" under Operations Systems menu in Software Center instead of Publisher as mostly we deploy Windows OS from Microsoft.

  15. Company Portal Customization

    I have a customer that, besides the new features in the Software Center, needs to use the Company Portal to all the +6000 users. The question here is the lack of customization. They want to be able to customize:


    1. The two pictures that appear in the Company Portal

    2. The color Schema for the tiles in the main page of company portal

    3. The Language of the App (that can be done changing the OS language).

    They are making a great an d big investment in the new images to their users and are using a clean desktop with clean apps, and…

  16. Software Center : Tooltip with the description of the application

    Currently the message that appears when a cursor is positioned over an icon (tooltip), is the "application name" in Software Center
    Instead of that, i would like to see in the tooltip the "application description".

    I would like the start menu shortcut for software center on POSReady 2009 to work. We have POSReady 2009, which I believe is supported, and the start menu .lnk for the Software Center shortcut is not working due to "softwarecenter:" being the target in the shortcut. When you try to launch software center from the shortcut, we receive the following error: "Unable to open this Internet Shortcut. The protocol "softwarecenter" does not have a registered program." I don't believe there is a "softwarecenter" file type. :)

  18. New Software Center (1511) still status “Installed software” is given as “Less than 1 MB”

    New Software center (1511) still the same bug than on previous version, where size of “Installed software” is given as “Less than 1 MB”, and only changes to real value when I click on the row.
    Do MS any plan/idea how to fix the issue ?

  19. Add a Date Modified for each app to be added as a column in Software Center installation status

    Users are accustomed to seeing “Last Run Time” in RAP and it was easy to sort by that column to see apps installed by date. The “Date Modified” appears to be the “last run time” in Software Center but we have to click on each app in the Installation Status tab to see the date modified info.

  20. Allow user to block full day for business hour

    Allow option for user to set 12am to 12am for a day in the business hour setting, currently the option available for users must include at least 4 hours system maintenance tasks per day
