Software Center: Add support for multiple category filtering.
the new Software Center (v1511) should have an option to filter per category (or multiple), like you have on the app catalog website today

Limit Simultaneous Application Downloads in Software Center
When machine gets rebuilt and the client discovers all of the requred software deployments it previously had, it attempts to download them all at the same time. More than half the time the client gets stuck due to this and needs to be reinstalled for software deployments to continue (sometimes multiple times before it gets everything installed). It would seem that if we had the ability to set an allowed number of simultaneious downloads (lets say 5 at a time), this problem wouldn't occur.
We install lots of applicaions in our lab environments due to shared lab spaces.

allow custom tabs ms-windows-store://pdp additionally to http://
can you please allow ms-windows-store://pdp as a link in the custom tabs? now it is only allowed to have http:// and https:// links as a custom tab.
If you allow this, we can open the Store App in the Software Center, as a single point of app/application selection/install for the Endusers.17 votes -
Add a Date Modified for each app to be added as a column in Software Center installation status
Users are accustomed to seeing “Last Run Time” in RAP and it was easy to sort by that column to see apps installed by date. The “Date Modified” appears to be the “last run time” in Software Center but we have to click on each app in the Installation Status tab to see the date modified info.

Approval workflows for Software Center
Approval portal for software and image requests. Have the user's manager, LOB tech lead, procurement, or the app owner (or combo of many) provide approvals for software or a Windows feature release. Ex. an LOB tech lead could provide approvals for all Windows Fall Creators updates to his/her LOB, thereby first ensuring all LOB apps have been certified for the build.

Make 'All' and 'Required' in Software Center look like buttons
Even though this is also partially a matter of end-user training, a lot of our users don't seem to realize that the words 'All' and 'Required' are clickable to filter. When telling someone they should select 'All' instead, they select 'All' from the category filter instead of clicking on the word 'All'.
So just a small UI change to make them more user-intuitive :)

Ability to customize Application catalog
It would be very nice and useful for many customers to have the ability to customize the application catalog site in terms of custom backgrounds/icons or page layout.

Software Center: Log-File view Button
it would be **** to have a Button in the "new" Software center to open a log-file with a Summary of the last steps that are run on a system, like for a SW installation, in a end-User readable context.
example:
SW Policy received
SW downloaded success
SW install started
SW install success (or return code 3016)
SW has a reboot pending

Software Center Not Showing Available User Deployed Applications on Internet due to MFA
We recently implemented the CMG and observed the issue with Computers on the Internet. When some users opened the Software center applications tab they did not see any user deployed software.
The issue is in log C:\Windows\CCM\Logs\ADALOperationProvider.log It reports MFA issue:

Improve application and task sequence behavior with SSD Hard Drives (metadata race conditions)
When a new system initially gets the SCCM Client installed and runs its initial scan for applications, machines with SSD Hard Drives (and even some machines without that are 'too fast') end up in a condition where the metadata failed to fully load. In this scenario, applications end up not getting listed in Software Center that the machine would otherwise be eligible (or even required) to have.
Modifying code found online, we have a Baseline Configuration that runs on systems to detect applications with missing metadata and then re-run the scan with a delay added; this resolves the problem and…12 votes -
Software Center - Operating Systems: Add Link to TS Deployments
In the Operating Systems Tab, please add the "Link" ability to a Task Sequence. We'd like to send communications, or create Toast Notifications that can directly launch the Software Center to a specific Task Sequence Deployment.

New Software Center - Add new dropdown to filter user and device deployed application
In new software center. we can see both user and device based available deployments inside application tab. it's more difficult to identify which one is device and which one is user based targeted.
If we add one more column to filter the deployment like user and device.

Possibility to launch the software updates dialog directly instead of the "balloon"
Many users tend to miss the balloon notifying them of available updates, when the deadline hits, they get surprised by the coming restart.
We'd like the possibility to launch the updates dialog directly, without having the user to click on the balloon, forcing the users to make an active choice whether to postpone the update or install it directly.11 votes -
Add a refresh button or icon in the Software Center to refresh ConfigMgr client policies and software center panel
Add a refresh button or icon in the Software Center to refresh ConfigMgr client policies and software center panel.
This icon could, be for instance, be located in the sidebar or somewhere else.
Once the user click on the refresh button, this will:
- Run configmgr client actions like "Machine Policy Retrieval & Evaluation Cycle" or some others.
- Refresh the Software Center panel11 votes -
Catalog / Software Center should be usable by the blind
Screen reading assistants can't parse the app catalog - it just says "Silverlight" over and over. This isn't acceptable - web pages need to be usable by the blind.
