Allow users to select the installation drive of an application.

1/Would be good to be able to categorise software into different groups to make it easier for the user to find what they require (For example Analysing Software, Browsers, etc)
2/Have a field to explain what the software does (save the user having to web search products)

Would be great to set a custom icon for the scclient.exe file to allow custom branded icons for the Software Center (like how Jamf allows customizing the Self Service.app).

Current this is only available for applications but not for task sequence.

This would safe a lot of Time.

Enable customization "Open the Application Catalog web site link" in Software Center. Usefull especially for customers using own Application catalog. Enable editing of the link name and its URL.

Add a tab that displays the history of all changes (TS, Packages, Applications, Updates, Compliance Remediation, ...) done by ConfigMgr Client. This should be possible to order by date or Name. It should also keep track of changes by packages that were deployed and run in the past, but are not deployed anymore.
In best case provide this as an WMI class, which can be added to HINV optionally.

Being able to configure the Software Center options section settings in the client settings. Example being able to specify business hours from the GUI instead of having to create CI/Baseline with PowerShell scripts....

I would like the Possibility to set for how long and deploy application should be ""new" in Software Center
Today it's say every time I log on that i have I new application available in software center.
I might already have installed or don't want to install it.
Should be good that we have a setting that control this so we could set it to show 2-3 time or for 1-2 day

With ConfigMgr recently changing the icon size to a high resolution spec it has created a world of hurt and a manual task to create the icons again.

ConfigMgr should provide a feature that auto includes icons / logos for known vendors from a central repository. It would cut down a lot of time for admins around the world and keep the catalogue looking pretty and consistent.

Software Center now already has beautiful large icons. But it's still rather primitive. If you want to browse software by category right now you have to use the filter.

It would be great if you have the option of displaying categories and even featured apps on the main software centre page, much like what you would see in Apple's app store or Google Play store.

It would improve the experience for users immensely.

The new branding options in Software Center are fantastic. With the ability to add a logo and web content, it really does look fantastic and users seem to have been receptive.

The final touch would be the ability to customize the icon on the start menu through client settings. We could do that in a GPO, but it's clunky.

Add the ability to display License Terms and Costs for Applications published in Software Center.

Having a separate call out for License Cost, Term (Quarterly, Bi-Annual, Yearly, etc.) can help employees make better informed decisions before downloading software. In addition, having this published in unique fields (outside the general Notes field) enables automation capabilities when connecting to SAM solutions as these values could then be auto-updated, etc. or used to trigger license assignment on the backend.
