  1. Send E-mail directly to people in collections

It is often during patching and upgrading, wanted to send a Notification mail to People in a special build Collection. This would simplify operations, and prevent a lot of extra incidents during maintenance.

  3. Resultant set of Maintenance Windows

Ability to get a resultant set of maintenance windows. There are some third party powershell scripts that can be used, but this would be a nice feature in the console

  5. Ability to disable some AD system discoveries.

Our current AD Sys Discovery takes over 2 days to process. It would be great to be able to disable some or all of them without deleting the configuration from the discovery method so that I could target specific domains. Currently if I need to target a specific, I have to delete all of the other ones. Or leave it, and wait 2 days for it to finish.

  6. "Primary User" or "Last Logged on User" in the NON SERVER COLLECTION?!

Right now while your looking at any collection there no way to add a drop down for "last logged on user" or "primary user"

IF you check the properties for individual devices you can get this info. Its very frustrating we cannot see this info in the console page!

PLEASE let me know if there is any workaround or if you can add this - Ive literally seen 10's if not 100's of forum threads asking for this exact same thing to be added!!!!!

  7. Set or remove scheduled full update time to a selected group of collections

When creating multiple collections, unchecking the schedule full update time, is sometimes overlooked. It would be nice to be able to select several collections and either set or remove scheduled update settings. Or add a column option to show the scheduled update times to avoid having to go into properties for each collection. TY!

  8. Increase results displayed or enable a filter window for criterion selection when creating a query for collection membership.

Currently when creating a collection based on installed software or software version there is a limit to the returned results based on criterion. If the item you are looking for is far enough down the list, you can't see it to select it. Adding additional rows to display on the return or a filter window would be greatly beneficial

  9. Limiting Collection Notification

When a device is added to a collection but is not a member of the limiting collection(s), there should be a prompt that notifies the user of this and what collection(s) the device needs to be a member of first.

  10. Create an Collection Base on IOS Profile or Android Devices

actually all device enrolled come on all IOS device but is not manageable if we want to deploy App or Base rule on Different devices we need to Create manually an collection and add all the devices in this collection also manually who generate a lot of works.

if we have the possibility to create an collection and to be able to have all device registered who are assigned to ios Profile this collection will be populate automatically and that will also give our live more easy,

eg: if we create an ios Profile Kiosk IPad Sales or Profile Kioskā€¦

I would be nice if in the Devices view there was an option to display the currently logged on user and the IP of the device so that I would not have to run a query all the time to get that information.

  12. UserName and MachineName displayed in Collections

I'd like to be able to view UserName and MachineName as a column in Collections. If the user logs into multiple machines then have SCCM select the most recent date or the machine with the most minutes logged-in.

  13. Direct membership rule

As like Direct membership rule in adding machine to the collection, it would be nice if we have any rule for excluding single machines from the collection.

  17. Easier access to collection query editing

It would be really nice if I could get to edit the query on a collection with just one click, rather than having make 7 clicks. Even if it was just available from the Right Click menu that would be a huge improvement.

  19. Collection removes members after some time specified automatically

Clients stored in a (temporarily) collection by a direct rule remain there until someone takes care if this is still needed. In my case this is done for packages which fix some issues and need to run only once on each defined client. Yes, this can be done by compliance settings or a query but it is easier for support staff picking a client and place it into a collection that fixes something a user is complaining about in a service ticket.
So the wish is, that the collection clears (not deletes) itself after a specified time.

  20. Blocking collection query is crashing SQL server

SCCM Version Number and CU level
    SCCM 1610
Customer has SQL 2012 with SQL Compatibility mode 2012.

    Observed behavior:

    The behavior is like this:

ā€¢ We have a collection A (BCS026B0)that contains 80.000 objects (or 100.000). It is big.
ā€¢ If we create a new collection B that is limited to A, once the update cycle for the collection B the SQL query will run with the ;WITH LimitedBaseTable as
ā€¢ This will generate a blocking and will never end.
The above behavior is not always reproducible with all big collections.

What we think would be useful is to addā€¦
