  3. Restore AMT Un-provision Operation or Provide Access to AMT Admin Account Passwords

When 1511 upgrade is implemented on a site, administrators lose all access to AMT management of systems that were provisioned in SCCM. The documentation about whats changed in 1511 (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/mt622084.aspx) is incorrect in two ways:

    1. The documentation states "AMT-based computers remain fully managed when you use the Intel SCS Add-on for Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager", when it should state "Newly provisioned AMT-based computers remain fully managed when you use the Intel SCS Add-on for Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager". Any systems provisioned via SCCM become effectively un-manageable when upgrading to 1511.

    2. There is no recommendation that systemsā€¦

It will be very helpful to see both the device and user under one view in SCCM console!

  5. Client status icon should be Green for online, yellow for offline, red for dead/inactive and grey for broken/misoconfigured/requires help

The current '2 color' method of identifying client status icon in the console should also include yellow and red.
Client status icon should be Green for online, yellow for offline (but still active), red for dead (more than 30 days) inactive and grey for broken/misconfigured/requires assistance clients.
Also make the icon column as a searchable criteria in the console.

  6. Set Time Zone in Client Settings

Setting of Time Zone in Client Settings (or for that matter, any "regional" based settings) as part of Client Settings would be very helpful. I've previous used Dynamic Variables in an OSD Task Sequence to set regional settings, but that only works where devices are built on that site. Having Client Settings applied to Device Collections that separate devices into regions would be awesome.

  7. Tag Devices No Longer in Active Directory

It would be nice to have a pre-built collection that puts devices found in SCCM that do not have a corresponding object in Active Directory. We could then delete those objects on a cycle or as needed. This will help keep our SCCM inventory more closely resemble Active Directory and keep it clean.

  8. more granular control over client settings

Would it be possible to add more granular control over client settings, for example by incorporating a GPO style Enabled, Disabled, Not Configured function. I particularly find multiple deployments of Computer Agent settings fiddly. Its not the end of the world, its just a bit clunky.

  9. Add the capability to Software Metering to collect and present data only for the device and not the user

Many customers want to use Software Metering, but are legally not allowed to, because ConfigMgr always discloses the user's name and his/her usage. To be compliant with European law it should be possible to collect data only related to the machines software is installed on. Of course that would not allow for all metering features/reports to work, but at least could many companies start using the feature in general and act on that data.

  10. Asset Intelligence for hardware requirements

Under Asset Intelligence for hardware requirements can you add TPM? with Cred Guard, Device Guard, BitLocker and other new features coming from Microsoft this would be a nice check to have built-in.

  11. Warranty Info

Currently there are scripts out there that can get warranty information, but HP for example seem to change the layout of their site that you have to reconfigure the scripts. It would be nice if Microsoft worked with the various vendors to be able to consistently retrieve that data.

  12. Create a new category for MUI / Language packs in asset intelligence

In asset Intelligence, MUI for an office application belongs to the same category as the application itself. So, when you list applications per category, you will receive a lot of extra records related to MUI that are not really useful. (ea: E-Mail and collaboration will return entries like Office 2013 MUI) Assigning MUI to a specify category will ease filtering.

  14. power management - shutdown/reboot/logoff

Implement a scheduled poweroff/reboot/logoff functionality so we don't depend on implementing it ourselves or 3rd party tools. I would imagine that we would be able to, per collection, schedule a daily/weekly/monthly reboot/shutdown/log off but allowing the user to post-pone x number of times if they are using the machine, etc..

  15. Import single Computerinfo <> MAC-Adress

On the Computerinfo-Dialog the only field that is not copy/past-enabled is the MAC-Adress field. Its not a Big Problem but every time i need to use it its not realy nice to write the compleate mac-adress by hand.

  16. Reverse how automatic software metering rules are created. It is backward.

The "Automatically create disabled metering rules" in Software Metering Properties should be "Specify the percentage of computers WITHOUT the software" rather than "Specify the percentage of computers that have the software".

Because of the way corporations license software we don't care about metering the items that 70% or more of the company has on their machines (the way the rules are currently set up to be created) we care about the software that is used on 60% or less of the computers.

The current calculation method for automatically creating software metering rules just clutters it up with rules for thingsā€¦

  17. Develop a report for devices within a collection that DO NOT have specific software installed

It would be very useful to have a built in report that shows devices with details and primary user information for computers in a collection that do NOT have specific software installed. Currently we need to make a collection of target devices (based on OU for example) with software x installed, then another collection of those same target device, and add an exclude collection rule pointing to the first collection... it's difficult to explain that to basic operators and would be nice to have a built in report that does that for us.

  18. True metering of an Application, but not an exe

Excellent work in adding new features in SCCM 2012.
Current model of metering thru exe, though works to an extent, it has flaws and doesn't offer needed confidence or trust to business about actual metering of an application as its limited to an exe. If possible, I request Microsoft to research on allowing SCCM admin to select an application, in backend SCCM converts that to all related exe for metering on clients and then monitor only installed application of those group of exe. Its note easy and throw some challenges but I trust and for experts at MS, nothing isā€¦

  19. Internet Explorer version report

An out of the box report on IE versions would be very helpful, whether in the Software - Companies and Products group of reports, or elsewhere.

  20. Add some usefullness to the Asset Intelligence

Provide some usefulness to create reports, pull uninstall information, possibly allow a simple right-click create uninstall package from software in the Inventoried Software List. Currently this is a mostly useless item as all it does is show the install count, does not even list the devices that have something installed.
