  1. Fallback Mobile Device Management with the Hybrid Solution

The ability to manage the Mobile devices from both the SCCM and Intune web portal ie.. with both the agent active or using one agent for both the purpose (EX: laptop or windows 10 ),if an user is working from a remote location and occasionally connects to office or VPN n/w ,instead of calling that user for the n/w connectivity to protect from vulnerabilites for SCEP and Windows updates or Applications deployment ... if a dual management is possible then would be an idle job for the administrator and organizations as the security threat has been minimized as the machineā€¦

  2. Console Client policy update for mobile devices

In the console you can currently force a policy update for a Windows computer. I would like this option to be available for mobile devices.

  3. Mobile Device Data Usage

I would like the capability to be able to report on data usage on mobile devices managed by SCCM/Intune in a similar way to the Data Usage information available in Windows Mobile 10. Having a configuration option to then set limits on data usage or warn when mobile data is reaching a percentage of allocation and being able to report on devices that have used more than their allocation.
This would provide the capability to manage costs for company owned devices for mobile data usage.

  4. Personal Hotspot iOS prevention - SCCM

Currently prevention of personal hotspot use in iOS is only a capability through Intune standalone. This setting should be made available in SCCM Hybrid to allow the prevention of hotspot use on ipads and iphones. We are currently having many overage charges from users using this feature and preventing this feature will help save money on these overages.

  5. Schedule wipe/retire

Have the ability to schedule wipe/retire. For instance when a user quits his or her job then we can say that on that day device will be wiped or retired.

  6. Simplify on-prem MDM initial configuration and deployment

Gerry (MVP) posted a great blog about configuring and deploying on-prem MDM for ConfigMgr 1511. Only problem is it was too long, because too many steps are required. Figure out how to simplify the process. How fast can one get SCCM "Out of the box", and "up and running", and "managing on-prem MDM"?

  7. Apple VPP - SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 extension

Extension so SCCM can be used with VPP. I believe this has just been released for newer generations of SCCM but not 2012 R2 SP1

  8. Remote Device Actions SCCM - Send Sync Request to Multiple Devices at Once (Bulk Sync)

Currently you are able to click on a single device and one at a time complete a remote device action of send sync request. This can get cumbersome when trying to refresh a whole fleet of devices. I would like the ability to send a remote sync request to multiple devices at once either by collection or by highlighting multiple devices in the console and selecting option.

  9. Group Like items for IOS and Android under a Mobile Device Management Section

Items such as "Application Management Policies" and "App Configuration Policies" and other items that are related to Mobile devices should be placed more appropriately within the console under a sections called Mobile Device Management, not just thrown in the root of Application Management as they do not apply to all systems. Alternatively, they could be named better, such as "Mobile Application Management Policies" and "Mobile App Configuration Policies"

  10. Please improve the service feedback in the service manager for the Intune connector

at the moment if you go to Administration Servers and Site systems roles select the Intune connector and select Properties you get nothing about the configuration. Also if you go to monitoring\component status then show status on the Windows_intune_connector you get no status at all regardless of whether it is working. If you go from there Start service manager and try and query the windows_Intune_Service you get an error message "error communicating with component". This all leads you to believe that the Intune service is broken on the SCCM server when in fact this is completely normal behaviour. This isā€¦

  11. Intune Secure Browser - settings required to manage home page etc..

We are missing Application Management Policies to allow you to set the home page, set bookmarks, return to home page after *** seconds, encrypt cookies, clear cookies and history if idle, caching, setting kiosk mode. The current application management settings are far too lightweight to be a viable option in most environments.

  12. Be able to send an SMS text to ConfigMgr hybrid Intune devices

So at least one competitor has the capability to send txt messages directly to managed devices from the administrator. This is useful to be able to draw users attention to changes in policy coming or asking them to upgrade iOS versions, upcoming maintenance of Intune etc. It would be great if we could send a message directly from the CM2012 console to a single device or an entire collection of devices. it doesn't have to be 2 way communication, just a way of sending admin alerts to end users. SMS texts tend to be more immediate in nature and drawā€¦

  13. Ability to enrol "on behalf of" a user

One of the biggest challenges we have when enrolling devices in the SCCM/Intune hybrid environment is not having the ability to enrol devices on behalf of a normal end user. It would be great if a role could be created to allow an IT support person to use the Company Portal app to enrol a device in Intune on behalf of a user. This would enable the device policies, configurations etc.. to be downloaded on the device and then the device would immediately be ready for the end-user when they collect it from IT.

  15. ConfigMgr Intune administration from a mobile device designed application.

So some of my mobile device admins came to me today and asked if with CM integrated Intune they could have a mobile version of the CM2012 console so that they could do basic MDM administration when on call. So locking/unlocking phones, adding a user to the Intune enrolment collection, adding enrolled devices to collections for various device policies, wipe/retire, switching a device from personal to company owned etc. While generally Intune in CM2012 is a pretty good option, having to always RDP in to do something is not always practical for admins that are outside office hours or awayā€¦

  16. Issue met for IOS Sandblast

    Hello Team

We use SCCM Current Branch with Hybrid INTUNE. Since the upgrade of SCCM CB to 1802, we met an issue for Sandblast Mobile Protect (from Checkpoint) on IOS mobile device.

I have performed two new test environments :

    - Intune STANDALONE + Checkpoint : All is OK

    - Intune Hybridate with SCCM Current Branch + Checkpoint : All Ok on Android, but not on IOS Mobile

When we try to "open" the baseline of this application, it raised an error on the console (Cf. Screenshot_Console_Error.JPG)

  17. Add field to MDM database to query for Supervised IOS devices

Currently there is no way to query the DB to check is an IOS device is in supervised mode or not. Could this be added in in future versions to allow us to track whether devise are compliant or not?

  20. Select modeled apps in Applications tab for Windows 10 VPN profile

This is a DCR proposed by a customer through a different channel that I'm porting here. The description provided is: "The current VPN Profile Applications tab [for Windows 10 VPN profiles] currently only allows an application file path and extension or a package family name for a universal app. It would be nice if there were an option to point to a list of modeled Applications in Configmgr that you could select. That way the Applications can be bound to currently managed Applications in ConfigMgr"

If this is important to you, please vote this up!
