  1. Application approval for a DEVICE collection

Currently Configmgr supports Administrative approval for an application only on USER collections. I'd like it to also support this on DEVICE collections. We base our deployments on Devices rather than users. I would like some kind of approval process for certain applications.

  2. Support enabling App-V for Windows 10 Anniversary edition

Now that App-V is included, it would be good if there was a way to automatically enable App-V in anniversary edition if an App-V application is deployed, or allow configuration using client settings

  4. App Approval - Include User “comments” in Email

The new App Approval feature in 1810 is looking great. So we can build on integration with other services and service desk software it would be handy to include the users “comment” in the email body.
Expanding on this and having the ability to add a “cost” and “billing code” field to the app request will enable the app procurement lifecycle to more streamlined.

  6. Application Deployment Types - Windows Server 2016 OS choice

SCCM currently doesn't list Windows Server 2016 as an OS choice from within "Deployment Types" and more specifically at the "Requirements" tab when Operating System is used as a prerequisite. This is a must have in order to be able to target specific applications and deployments only over Windows Server 2016 instances.

At this time even SCCM 1607 doesn't support this as a choice.

  7. Give us an option for Appx Provisioning Deployment

ConfigMgr supports .appx deployment, but sometimes we want these on every user that signs into the machine. These machines may be on metered connections and not have a stable connection at the time to redownload the appx file. DISM lets us do this by hand and calls it provisioning. This is a long and complicated process when deploying to 1000's of machines.

Currently SCCM pushed Windows Modern Applications can only installed into the current users profile even if the deployment is targeted at the machine.

Can we get the option in SCCM for if we want the APPX provisioned for…

  8. Improve App-V deployments to non-persistent VDI's.

Improve App-V deployments to non-persistent VDI's. Currently if you App-V applications to users in non-persistent VDI environments, there is a long delay after the user logs on before the applications install.

If this could be changed so that applications are published significantly faster after a user logs in that would enable the use of SCCM to deploy applications to non-persistent environments. Currently this process is far too slow as users have to wait too long to get their applications.

This was meant to be addressed in SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 however I logged a call with Microsoft and they said…

  9. Package & Application Path in Hierarchy after searching for the packages

Package & Application Path in Hierarchy after searching for the packages to know the location of the package/application instead of searching through all the folders/subfolders
